The petitioner, Timothy V. Bowling, appeals the trial court's
dismissal of his petition for post- conviction relief. In this appeal
of right, the petitioner contends that the trial court erred by
ordering a dismissal without an evidentiary hearing. The judgment is
reversed and remanded to the trial court for the appointment of
counsel and an evidentiary hearing.

STATE OF TENNESSEE v. SPIKE WILLIAM HEDGECOTH

First Paragraph:
The defendant, Spike William Hedgecoth, was convicted by a Cumberland
County jury of hindering a secured creditor, Tenn. Code Ann. S
39-14-116, a Class E felony. The trial court sentenced Defendant to
two years and a fine of two thousand dollars. Defendant's sole issue
on appeal is whether the evidence adduced at trial was sufficient to
support his conviction. After a thorough review of the record, we
affirm the judgment of the trial court.

was insufficient to support his conviction. We disagree; accordingly,
we affirm the judgment of the trial court.
