2008 Statewide Public Service Day Sponsored by the TBA Young Lawyers Division Each year in conjunction with Law Day, lawyers across the state participate in projects designed to serve the public. Many of this year's projects reflect the TBA Young Lawyers Division's commitment to CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates). Following is a list of each district's public service project for this year. Hosting a golf tournament on July 18 beginning at 1 p.m. at Moccasin Bend to benefit the Orange Grove Center, a private non-profit organization serving adults and children with developmental disabilities. The entry fee is $70 per person or $250 for a team, which includes greens fees, food and drinks. Volunteers will disinfect toys and common areas to make the space safe for children.
