Election/Selection Handbook

Introduction

As a service to our members and staff, this handbook attempts to catalog and to categorize all of the election and selection rules and criteria for elected positions within the Tennessee Bar Association and selections which are made through and by Board of Governors action.

Every attempt has been made to assure its accuracy. However, in the event of differences between the handbook and the TBA Bylaws or statute, the bylaws or statute controls.

Steen will be Tennessee Bar Association president in 2014-2015, according to election-qualifying results. No other candidate filed for the vice president position by the Feb. 15 deadline.
