While construction disputes are basically contract claims, when it comes to damages and remedies, construction law becomes very difficult to navigate.

This seminar will address those issues that trip up even the experienced lawyer, such as:

  • Using the mechanic’s lien law; rescission; delay damages
  • Consumer Protection Act and Contractors Licensing Act
  • Liquidated damages; and damage limitation of liability clauses like waiver of consequential damages and delay.
