In this presentation, we will discuss the recent Supreme Court decision of Wal-Mart v. Dukes. The presentation will include analysis of the majority opinion, concurrence, and the dissenting opinions. We will also discuss the legal standard and types of class actions in federal court; evidence needed to establish a class moving forward; as well as long term implications of the Wal-Mart v. Dukes on employment discrimination class actions.
