Friday, June 22, 2012 - 8:00am This program will provide attendees with perspectives from each side of a commercial lending transaction – the lender, the borrower and the title insurer. The program includes presentations by lender’s counsel and borrower’s counsel as to the preparation and negotiation of the documentation and other requirements for closing the deal, followed by a panel discussion among a lender, lender’s counsel and borrower’s counsel. In addition, a title insurance agent and title insurance litigation counsel will discuss the role of title insurance in commercial lending, and provide insight as to best practices for closing and insuring the deal.
