Absolutely Everything You Will Ever Want to Know About the Revised Rules
The Tennessee Bar Association has posted on its web site everything you will ever need to know about the Tennessee Supreme Court's latest revisions to the Tennessee Rules of Professional Conduct, which go into effect on Jan. 1, 2011.
Go to www.tba.org/ethics for:
- A clean version of the new Rules, as they will look after the revisions go into effect;
- A redlined version of the revisions, comparing the new Rules to the prior Tennessee Rules and showing clearly what has changed, word for word, in every Rule and Comment;
- A separate redlined version of the new Rules, showing precisely how the new Rules differ from the current ABA Model Rules of Professional Conduct; and
- Finally, ethics nerds and insomniacs can find much of the "legislative history" of the revisions, including comments to the Supreme Court on the TBA proposal, and TBA responses to those comments.
