I just read a couple of articles in the latest Tennessee Bar Journal and was struck a bit by the consistent use of feminine pronouns. I have nothing against this practice, so long as it is even handed. How about a few "his estate" references and "he is going to be able to criticize" questions? Does the Journal have a policy mandating the use of "she," 'her" and "hers," or are those who write articles perhaps afraid of a feminist backlash if they use masculine pronouns? Just wondering,
