The TBA Board of Governors will select a TBA member to represent the association in the ABA House of Delegates at its June 16 meeting. Because of a discrepancy between the TBA bylaws and the ABA constitution, Position 5 of the TBA delegation to the ABA House of Delegates was not advertised for election this year. The TBA Board of Governors will fill this seat until TBA elections can be conducted next spring. In the meantime, the TBA bylaws will be amended to address the discrepancy with the ABA constitution.
The incumbent in this position, Paul Campbell III of Chattanooga, has expressed his intention to seek selection to the seat. Any other TBA member who wishes to offer themselves as a candidate for this position should send a letter of interest to TBA Executive Director Allan F. Ramsaur at the Tennessee Bar Center no later than close of business May 31.
