Durard Appointed in 17th District

Forest A. Durard Jr., has been appointed by Gov. Bill Haslam as Circuit Court judge in the 17th Judicial District. Durard has been a solo practitioner in private practice since 1992 and prior to that served in the Public Defender’s Office and the District Attorney’s Office. The 17th Judicial District includes Bedford, Lincoln, Marshall and Moore counties. The vacancy was created by the retirement of the Honorable Robert Crigler, effective May 31.
