Services Friday for Nashville Lawyer

Aaron Wyckoff, 71, died Dec. 24 from complications of Hodgkin's lymphoma. A native of Kentucky, Wyckoff moved to Nashville to attend Vanderbilt University. He graduated with a bachelor degree in 1965 and a law degree in 1968. He practiced law for a short time in Virginia Beach, and then worked in Nashville until his retirement in 2010. Among his many roles, Wyckoff spent time as an assistant district attorney, an assistant U.S. attorney and a lawyer in private practice. Wyckoff served on the board of directors of the Nashville Bar Association. A memorial service will be held at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 3900 West End Ave., Nashville 37205 at 11:30 a.m. this Friday (Jan. 3). Visitation with the family will begin at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Westminster Presbyterian Church; Nashville Rescue Mission, 639 Lafayette St., Nashville, TN 37203; or the Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee and the Cumberlands, 300 Deaderick St., Nashville, TN 37201.
