Vacancies Filled by YLD Board

At the YLD’s first board meeting of the bar year, voting members of the board elected four lawyers -- Bryce McKenzie, Jason F. Hicks, Nina Kumar and Nicole Grida -- to fill vacancies. Read more below.

Sevierville lawyer Bryce McKenzie was elected District 2 Representative. He will represent young lawyers in Anderson, Campbell, Claiborne, Cocke, Fentress, Grainger, Jefferson, Scott, Sevier and Union counties. Nashville lawyer Nina Kumar was elected Middle Tennessee young lawyer delegate to the TBA House of Delegates. She is an associate at Burr & Forman with a focus on representing business clients in commercial transactions, real estate, bond finance, bank lending, acquisitions and dispositions. She also serves in the firm’s Healthcare Section handling corporate, regulatory and compliance matters, medical staff concerns, physician practice formations, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, and contract negotiations. Memphis lawyer Nicole Grida was elected West Tennessee young lawyer delegate to the TBA House of Delegates. She practices at Leitner, Williams, Dooley & Napolitan where she focuses on general civil liability matters including medical and legal malpractice, workers’ compensation, and premises, automobile and products liability.
