Real Estate Essentials: Handling Divorce Issues

Monday, May 8, 2017 - 8:30am Learn how to avoid pitfalls as we look at variety of issues that can go wrong in divorce cases. This year’s program will offer a panel presentation to cover real estate practices in complaints and family law. Speakers will address financial problems that can occur post-divorce relating to credit problems, foreclosures, bankruptcy, etc. We will also talk about types of deeds and how they are handled in divorce cases.
You may park in the Commerce Street Garage (corner of 3rd Avenue/Commerce St.). We will be validating parking tickets, so please make sure to bring your ticket!

Friday, May 12, 2017 - 8:00am At this year's Animal Law Forum, sessions will focus on animal abuse resources as well as municipal ordinance enforcement. A special extended panel will address nonprofit management for both animal law specialists and general practitioners. New legislation and case law will be highlighted, as well as technology's influence on the modern law practice. The forum will be held at the MTSU Horse Science Center, and an optional tour led by Dr. Rhonda Hoffman will allow attendees to visit the facilities following the CLE.
Lunch will be included, allowing for networking.
