Charlotte provides proactive, preventative advice and counseling to client advisory groups with respect to many areas of employment law, including Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Family and Medical Leave Act, Americans with Disability Act of 1990, Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967, Fair Labor Standards Act, and similar common and statutory law. As a Director, Employee Relations Specialist, Charlotte is also responsible for conducting workplace investigations, responding to severance appeals, and ensuring that the firm's U.S. Employee Handbook, related policies, and guidance documents are kept up-to-date with federal, state, and city laws. Charlotte is active in her local community. She currently serves as a Trustee for the RockBridge Foundation and the Board of Directors Vice-Chair for the Christian Women’s Job Corps of Middle Tennessee. In her spare time, Charlotte and her husband can be found chasing their two young children around a playground, playing tennis, or going to the pool. Charlotte received both her B.A., magna cum laude, in public relations and M.A. in integrated marketing communications from The University of Alabama. She later received her J.D. from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University, graduating with a certificate in trial advocacy. While in law school, Charlotte was selected by Cumberland faculty as a member of the Order of Barristers, National Mock Trial Team, and to serve as a Caruthers Fellow.
