As assistant programs coordinator, Christy works with a number of the TBA's 27 sections and 12 committees, assisting with newsletters, facilitating meetings and ensuring they operate smoothly. A native of Missouri, Christy earned a bachelors degree in political science and master of public administration from Arkansas State University. Prior to joining the TBA Christy worked for a large scale commercial real estate developer in Jonesboro, Ark., and was a campaign assistant there in the local mayoral election. Christy also served as board member and Fundraising Chair of the Women’s Crisis Center of Northeast Arkansas and was appointed by Governor Huckabee to the Commission for Closing the Academic Achievement Gap in the State of Arkansas.
