David is currently the Immediate Past President of the Tennessee Bar Association Young Lawyer's Division. David previously served as a member of the Tennessee Bar Association Board of Governors. David is a member of the firm of Gearhiser, Peters, Elliott, & Cannon, PLLC. David has successful experience representing clients in matters involving residential/commercial construction, professional liability, personal injury, insurance litigation, real estate litigation, consumer protection litigation, automotive litigation, automobile dealership litigation, and general commercial litigation. David also advises nonprofit organizations, pastors, and churches. In 2003 to 2004, David served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable David R. Farmer of the Tennessee Court of Appeals.
