Rob Whitfield is the County Attorney for Henry County, Tennessee, and the attorney for the Henry County School Board. Rob focuses his private practice in business law and civil litigation. Rob received a law degree with a concentration in business from the University of Tennessee College of Law, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of Transactions: The Tennessee Journal of Business Law and Student Materials Editor of the Tennessee Law Review. Rob received a research assistantship at UT’s Clayton Center for Entrepreneurial Law, where he collaborated with Director George W. Kuney, Esq., a nationally renowned bankruptcy and transactional law expert, on multiple treatises concerning bankruptcy and intellectual property law. Rob has been awarded for excellence in legal research and writing by UT Law, the Tennessee Law Review, and the Transactions Journal and was recognized by UT Law as a top scholar in Bankruptcy Workouts and Reorganizations, Contract Drafting, Internet Law, and Advanced Legal Process. Rob also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Clemson University.
