Lorrie’s current practice is devoted exclusively to ADR. She brings more than 30 years of experience in the law to her practice. Lorrie handled a broad range of civil matters, from defamation to employment discrimination, complex commercial matters, class actions, and personal injury cases. Lorrie has tried more than 40 jury trials to verdict in both state and federal courts (representing plaintiffs and defendants). She has argued cases in the 5th and 6th Circuit Courts of Appeals, and state Courts of Appeals. She was appointed to the Circuit Court bench by Governor Phil Bredesen in April 2009, where she served as a trial judge until September 2010. She was the 2009 recipient of the Chancellor Rond Outstanding Judge of the Year Award and is AV rated by her peers in Martindale-Hubbell. Lorrie taught for 5 years as an Assistant Professor of Law at the University of Memphis and is a Rule 31 Listed General Civil/Family Mediator.
