Prior to joining Bone McAllester Norton, Mandy Strickland Floyd served as the senior judicial law clerk to the Honorable Richard H. Dinkins of the Tennessee Court of Appeals. During her clerkship, Mandy assisted the judge in preparing for oral argument and in drafting opinions on a wide variety of civil topics. She focuses her practice in Litigation and Dispute Resolution, Intellectual Property, and Labor and Employment Law. Mandy earned her law degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Memphis and her B.S., cum laude, from Vanderbilt University. Mandy also previously served as a as a legal intern for Tennessee Supreme Court Justice Janice Holder, a law clerk for the Domestic Violence Prosecutions Unit of the Shelby County District Attorney’s Office, a guardian ad litem in the University of Memphis Child and Family Litigation Clinic, and Victim Advocate at the Mary Parrish Center for Victims of Domestic and Sexual Violence. Prior to attending law school, Mandy owned and operated a small business in Franklin, Tn.
