Marcus is currently a second-year law student at Belmont University College of Law. In 2007, he graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a B.S. in Criminal Justice. Prior to attending law school, Marcus served as a Pre-Sentence Investigator at the Tennessee Board of Probation and Parole for nearly five years in Nashville and Memphis, Tennessee. During the summer of his 1L year, Marcus worked as a legal intern in the U.S. Attorneys Office for the Middle District of Tennessee. Marcus' current activities include, Belmont Law Board of Advocates (Vice President of Finance and Administration), Student Bar Association Diversity Committee (Chair), and BU-COL Black Law Student Association (Vice-President).
