Pamela Reeves is known statewide for her ability to find creative ways to solve problems and for her leadership skills. Pam is a past president of the Tennessee Bar Association, and the first woman to ever be elected as TBA president. A graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Law, Pam has practiced in Knoxville since 1979. Since 1997, she has served as a Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 31 registered mediator and is an approved mediator on the panels for the Eastern and Middle Districts of the United States Federal District Courts. She is a Fellow on the American College of Civil Trial Mediators (one of six Fellows in Tennessee) and she is currently president-elect of the College. Pam has served as Secretary of the Knoxville Bar Association and chair of the Knoxville Bar Association’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Section. She has written articles and presented numerous CLEs on mediation, professionalism and employment matters. She has been recognized as one of the Top 100 lawyers in the state of Tennessee and in the Best Lawyers in America from 2006-2009. Most recently Pam was awarded the Knoxville Bar Association’s Governors’ Award — the highest honor accorded within the Knoxville legal community. Pam currently serves on the Tennessee Judicial Selection Commission and on the Board of Judicial Conduct. She writes a monthly column on business law for the Knoxville News Sentinel. She practices law at the firm of Reeves, Herbert & Murrian PA.
