Robert is a third year law student at Belmont University College of Law. He serves as Editor-in-Chief of the Belmont Law Review. Robert also competed on the Belmont Law Mock Trial team in spring of 2014, where his team placed first regionally and eleventh nationally in the American Association of Justice Mock Trial Tournament. Robert has interned for Tennessee Supreme Court Justice Jeffrey Bivins, United States Magistrate Judge John Bryant, as well as the United States Attorney's Office for the Middle District of Tennessee and the Tennessee Comptroller of the Treasury's Open Records division. From 2013-2014, he worked as a Research Assistant for Professor Lynn Zehrt, performing research for an article on Pregnancy Discrimination claims involving jobs that require heavy lifting. He has also worked as a clerk for Correct Care Solutions, a nationwide correctional healthcare company headquartered in Nashville. Robert's practice interests include civil litigation, particularly in the areas of employment law, civil rights, and personal injury. He also has a strong interest in health care law, and is pursuing a Health Law certificate at Belmont. Prior to law school, Robert worked for the Tennessee General Assembly.
