Steve Mealor is Director of Appeals Litigation for TennCare. He became licensed to practice in 2006 after graduating from the Washington & Lee University School of Law, where he was editor of the Environmental Law Digest, assistant-instructor to the first-year research and writing course, and member of the school's national moot court team. His practice prior to entering state government involved administrative law, healthcare regulation, disability law, and federal appeals. Steve, who holds a B.A. from Wake Forest University and an M.Div. from Princeton Theological Seminary, was a Presbyterian minister for six years before entering law school.
