Steve Mealor became licensed to practice in 2006, after graduating from the Washington & Lee University School of Law, where he was editor of the Environmental Law Digest, assistant-instructor to the first-year research and writing course, and member of the school's national moot court team. Having practiced at a high-volume Social Security disability firm in Knoxville, he has extensive experience in administrative law, disability law, and federal appeals. He now assists other Social Security representatives with their appeals and also represents individual clients in a variety of matters. Steve, who holds a B.A. from Wake Forest University and a Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary, was a Presbyterian minister for six years before entering law school.
