Sydney Koch is an Immigration Specialist at the University of Michigan. She specializes in employment immigration for faculty and staff. Ms. Koch grew up in Deerfield, MI, and then attended the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. After completing her Bachelor’s degree, she moved to Knoxville, TN to attend UT law. Ms. Koch chose to remain in East Tennessee to practice in immigration, employment, and insurance defense law at Hunter, Smith, and Davis for two years prior to returning to her home state. During law school, Ms. Koch worked as a Graduate Assistant for the Office of Student Judicial Affairs. She served as a Research Editor for the Tennessee Law Review and was a member of Transactions: The Tennessee Journal of Business Law.
