Leadership Law Class of 2013

The Tennessee Bar Association's Leadership Law program aims to serve the legal profession by equipping participants with the vision, knowledge and skills necessary to serve as leaders in the profession and in the community as a whole.

TBALL Class of 2013 Kicks Off Program

The TBA’s Leadership Law program this week begins its 10th year with an opening retreat for the class of 2013. Programming started Thursday afternoon and continues through Saturday at Montgomery Bell State Park. The 32 members of the class have already heard from some of the leading lawyers in the state, including Byron Trauger, Houston Gordon, Lewis Donelson, Randy Kinnard and TBA presidents Jackie Dixon, Gail Ashworth, Pam Reeves, Charles Swanson and John Tarpley. The group will meet monthly until graduating during the 2013 TBA Convention in Nashville June 12-15.

TBA Announces Leadership Law Class of 2013

The Tennessee Bar Association has announced the members of its 2013 Leadership Law (TBALL) class. TBALL is an award-winning, six-month-long program that aims to nurture effective leadership with respect to ethical, professional and community service issues; build relationships among legal leaders from across the state and from across disciplines within the profession; raise the level of awareness among lawyers regarding the broad range of issues facing the legal profession; and enhance the diversity of leaders within the legal profession and the community as a whole. This year’s class will have 34 members from across the state. Programming begins with an opening retreat in January and concludes with graduation ceremonies during the 2013 TBA Annual Convention next June in Nashville. See the list of class members
