àAt€the€sentencing€hearing,€Kenneth€McElroy€testified€for€the€State.€€McElroy,Ïa€former€detective€with€the€Marshall€County€Sheriffððs€Department,€investigated€aÏburglary€case€wherein€he€charged€the€Defendant€with€burglarizing€a€local€residence.€ÏAfter€taking€out€a€warrant€for€the€Defendant,€Defendant€was€arrested€andÏincarcerated€in€the€Marshall€County€Jail.€€During€the€time€that€she€was€incarcerated,ÏMcElroy€recalled€that€Defendant€complained€of€back€pain€and,€as€a€result,€was€takenÏto€the€local€hospital€in€Lewisburg.€€McElroy€and€the€jailer,€Amy€Adams,€transportedÏDefendant€to€the€hospital.€€While€they€were€at€the€hospital€for€x„rays,€the€DefendantÏasked€to€use€the€bathroom€and€escaped€through€another€door€to€the€bathroom.€€ÌÌà ` àMcElroy€was€no€longer€employed€as€a€detective€when€Defendant€was€arrestedÏin€1997.€€Defendantñ}ñ›ñ}ñ€ñ}ñœñ}ñgave€a€statement€to€the€probation€officer,€to€be€included€in€theÐ  :À00 Ðpre„sentence€report,€wherein€sheñ}ñ›ñ}ñ€claimed€McElroy€advised€her€to€escape€andÏexplained€how€she€could€escape.€€McElroy€denied€this€allegation€in€his€testimony.€ÏMcElroy€left€the€Sheriffððs€Department€of€his€own€free€will€and€while€in€good€standing.ÌÌà ` àJennifer€Robinson€prepared€the€presentence€report€of€the€Defendant.€ÏRobinson€stated€that€she€personally€interviewed€the€Defendant,€finding€her€to€beÏvery€cooperative€in€giving€information.€€Robinson€was€not€aware€of€anything€inÏDefendantððs€background€which€would€render€her€a€bad€risk€for€alternativeÏsentencing.ÌÌà `
