Thepartiesweredivorcedin1990.ThetrialcourtsfinaldecreeofdivorcewasappealedtotheCourtofAppealsfortheMiddleSection,whichorderedthetrialcourttoaward$750.00amonthtoappellantasrehabilitativealimonyforaperiodof36months.(TR24)Theordersubsequentlyenteredbythetrialcourtprovidedthattheamountanddurationofthealimonycouldbealteredforgoodcauseshown. Appellantarguesthatshehasmadeallreasonableeffortstorehabilitateherselfandthatsheshouldbeentitledtoanextensionofthealimonyuntil1997,sothatshemaycompletehereducation.7XXdXXd7 Sincetheoriginalawardofrehabilitativesupportwasentered,appellanthasattendedWatkinsInstitute,whereshemajorsininteriordesign.ShehasmaintainedafulltimejobandhastakennomorethanoneclasspersemesteratWatkins,eventhoughotherclasseswereavailable.Appellanttestifiedthatshedidnotwanttotakemorethanoneclasspersemesterbecauseshedidnotwanthergradepointaveragetosuffer.Atthepresentrate,itwilltakehermorethanfouryearsforhertocompleteherrequirementsatWatkins.Eventhen,shemusttakemoreacademiccoursesatanaccreditedinstitutioninordertoobtainherdegree.Appellanthasnodebt,and,atthetimeofthehearing,hadapproximately$9,000.00inhersavingsaccount.Hereducationalexpenseshavebeenminimal,averaginglessthan$100.00amonthduring1994. Priorto1993,arehabilitativealimonyawardwasnotmodifiable,unlessthecourtprovidedotherwiseinthedecree.Isbellv.Isbell,816S.W.2d735(Tenn.1991).In1993,however,T.C.A.365101(d)(2)wasenacted.Thisprovisionallowsrehabilitativealimonytobeextendedormodifieduponashowingofasubstantialandmaterialchangeofcircumstances.Inthepresentcase,whichwasdecidedbeforeT.C.A.365101wasenacted,thecourtprovidedintheorderthattheawardcouldbemodifieduponashowingofgoodcause. WeneednotdecidewhetherT.C.A.365101governsthepresentcasebecauseitisouropinionthatunderthefactsofthiscase,appellanthasfailedtomeettheburdenofdemonstratingeithergoodcauseorasubstantialandmaterialchangeofcircumstancessufficienttojustifyextendingthealimonyawarduntil1997.Itisevidentfromtherecordthatappellantsimplyhasnotmadeallreasonableeffortsatrehabilitation.
