OurJune5,1998opinionaddressedissuesconcerningMr._Anderton_schildsupportand_spousal_Ԁsupportobligations.WedeterminedthatthetrialcourtsfailuretofollowthechildsupportguidelinesresultedinMr._Anderton_payingchildsupportinamountsfarlessthanwhattheguidelinesrequired.Accordingly,weremandedthecasetothetrialcourtforthesecondtimetosetMr._Anderton_schildsupportinaccordancewiththeguidelinesandtodeterminetheamountofandmakearrangementsforpaymentofthechildsupportarrearage. Ontheissueof_spousal_Ԁsupport,wedeterminedthatthetrialcourthadoverstatedMr._Anderton_sabilitytopayrehabilitative_spousal_Ԁsupportinlightofthecorrectamountofhischildsupportobligationandhisactualincome.WealsodeterminedthatMs._Anderton_Ԁshouldreceiverehabilitativeratherthanlongterm_spousal_Ԁsupport.Thus,wefoundthatMs._Anderton_Ԁwasentitledtorehabilitative_spousal_Ԁsupportfortenyearsbeginningfromthedateoftheoriginal1995divorcedecreeandthattheamountofthissupportbeginninginOctober1996shouldbe$3,000permonth. Inhispetitionforrehearing,Mr._Anderton_Ԁrequeststhiscourttoreconsideritsdispositionofthe_spousal_Ԁsupportissueand(1)todecreasethetermofMs._Anderton_srehabilitativesupport,(2)todecreasetheamountofhis_spousal_Ԁsupportto$2,000permonth,and(3)toorderthatthisdecreasedamountofchildsupportrelatebacktothedateoftheoriginaldivorce.Insupportofhispetitionforrehearing,Mr._Anderton_Ԁhasfiledcopiesofhis1996and1997W2WageandTaxStatementsshowingthathisactualnetmonthlyincomein1996wasapproximately$6,200andthathisactualnetmonthlyincomein1997wasapproximately$8,000.OuroriginaldecisiontosetMr._Anderton_s_spousal_supportat$3,000permonthwasbasedonevidencethathisnetearningpotentialwas$9,150permonth.Inlightofthepostjudgmentfactsconcerninghisactualincomefor1996and1997,wehavedeterminedthattheamountofMr._Anderton_s_spousal_ԀsupportobligationbeginninginOctober1996shouldbereducedfrom$3,000asreflectedinouroriginalopinionto$2,000.
