ThebasisofMr.ChandlerscomplaintistheimplicitargumentthatKentuckydidnotpossess   jurisdictiontotryhimforamurderallegedlycommittedintheStateofTennessee.Thepropertime p toassertlackofjurisdiction,ofcourse,isduringtrial,butMr.Chandlerdidnotraisethatdefense \ becausehethoughtitwouldbetohisadvantagenotto.Evenifproperjurisdictionoverthiscaselay H onlyinthisstate,however,thecourtsofTennesseehavenopowertoreversethejudgmentofthe 4 Kentuckycourt.  p   Mr.ChandlermaybecorrectinassertingthattheGovernorofKentuckyhasthepowerto H pardonhim,andthatifGovernorPattonexercisedhispardonpower,asubsequentmurder 4 prosecutioninKnoxvillewouldfollow.Wethinkitlikelyalsothatapardonrequestfromthe   GovernorofTennesseewouldhavemorechanceofsuccessthanapardonrequestfromaconvicted   murderer.
