àand€$600.00€per€month€from€9/2001€until€Wifeððs€death€orÏremarriage.€Ì€ÌœÓÓHusband›€appeals€the€decision€of€the€trial€court€arguing€that€the€trial€court€erred€inÏawarding€Wife€alimony€in€futuro€instead€of€rehabilitative€alimony€and€€in€awarding€WifeÏ$6,638.50€as€alimony€in€solido.€€For€the€reasons€stated€hereafter,€we€affirm€theÏjudgment€of€the€trial€court.ÌÌà@ àò òFACTSÌÌà àó óAfter€forty„one€years€of€marriage,€Husband€left€Wife€on€March€6,€1994€forÏanother€woman.€€Wife€was€fifty„nine€years€of€age€at€the€time€of€trial,€and€Husband€wasÏage€fifty„eight.€ÌÌà àWith€the€exception€of€brief€intervals,€Wife€was€employed€outside€the€homeÏthroughout€the€entire€marriage.€€Having€only€an€eleventh€grade€education,€Wifeððs€jobsÏconsisted€primarily€of€receptionist€and€secretarial„type€work.€€In€1959,€Wife€worked€forÏthe€Case€Company€for€six€to€eight€months€on€a€part„time€basis€while€Husband€wasÏengaged€in€military€service.€€In€March€1962,€Wife€began€working€for€Sears„RoebuckÍCompany€(ð ðSearsðð).€€Wife€remained€employed€with€Sears€until€October€1980.€€AfterÏleaving€her€employment€with€Sears,€Wife€went€to€work€for€Husbandððs€newly€openedÏbusiness,€Halls€Tractor€Company,€whereupon€Wife€worked€on€a€full€time€basis€andÏwas€not€paid€a€salary.€€Wife€worked€for€Halls€Tractor€Company€until€it€ceased€to€exist€inÏJuly€1982.€€Wifeððs€following€four€jobs€consisted€of€work€as€an€office€receptionist€forÏvarious€professionals€in€the€community.€Ì€Ìà àHaving€an€eighth€grade€education,€Husband€worked€as€a€mechanic€and€as€aÏsalesman.€Due€to€his€position€as€a€salesman,€Husbandððs€job€required€him€to€moveÏfrequently€from€place€to€place€during€the€first€part€of€the€partiesðð€marriage.€ÏConsequently,€Wife€made€the€necessary€arrangements€for€the€partiesðð€moves€andÏorganized€their€new€homes€once€the€moves€were€completed.€ÌÌà àHusband€traveled€out€of€town€throughout€the€week€and€on€many€weekends€dueÏto€his€schedule€as€a€salesman.€Wife,€therefore,€maintained€the€home€during€€theÏmarriage.€€Wife€decorated€the€home,€mowed€the€lawn,€planted€flowers€and€shrubs,Ïpainted,€prepared€meals,€laundered€and€pressed€clothing,€helped€Husband€with€hisÏpaperwork,€arranged€appointments€for€Husband,€and€ran€various€errands€forÏHusband.€€Wife€also€entertained€Husbandððs€family,€friends€and€business€associates.€ÌÌà àWife€ceased€working€at€the€age€of€fifty„four€and€considers€herself€retired€fromÏemployment€outside€the€home.€€Suffering€from€rheumatoid€arthritis,€Wife€testified€thatÏher€arthritic€condition€affects€her€right€knee,€hip,€elbows,€forearm€and€wrists.€€WifeÍtestified€that€her€present€living€expenses€total€approximately€$2,467.32€per€month.€Ìà àÌà àThe€year€preceding€trial,€Husbandððs€gross€income€totaled€$56,586.00.€ÏHusband€earned€$54,798.64€from€his€work€at€the€Gehl€Company€and€receivedÏ$404.15€per€month€in€retirement€benefits€from€his€former€employer,€Case€Company.€× ƒ% ××  ×ÏHusband€had€also€accumulated€$39,120.38€from€his€401„K€plan€with€the€GehlÏCompany.× ƒ3 ××  ×€€€ÌÌà àAt€age€sixty„five,€Husband€will€receive€$1,200.00€per€month€in€Social€SecurityÏbenefits,€and€Wife€will€receive€$600.00€per€month€in€Social€Security€benefits€at€ageÏsixty„five.€ÌÌà àHusband€admitted€to€having€adulterous€affairs€throughout€the€course€of€theÏmarriage.€€In€1978,€Husband€engaged€in€an€affair€with€a€certain€woman€whom€WifeÏlater€discovered.€€€Husband€later€moved€in€with€this€other€woman€for€a€three€weekÏperiod.€€Upon€apologizing€to€Wife€and€promising€that€he€would€never€again€engage€inÏan€affair,€Husband€moved€back€home€with€Wife.€ÌÌà àAfter€moving€back€home€with€Wife,€Husband€continued€his€affair€with€the€otherÍwoman.€€Husband€continued€contacting€her,€spent€$40,000.00€on€a€farm€for€her,Ïbought€an€automobile€for€her,€paid€her€automobile€insurance€on€a€regular€basis,€andÏpaid€a€moving€van€to€move€her€possessions€from€Memphis,€Tennessee€to€Pittsburgh,ÏPennsylvania.€€€Husband€twice€posted€a€criminal€bond€for€the€other€woman,€althoughÏhe€testified€that€she€reimbursed€him€for€the€expense€of€posting€the€bonds.€€€UponÏleaving€Wife€on€March€6,€1994,€Husband€moved€in€with€the€other€woman.€ÌÌ€€ò òà@ àLAWÌÌà àó óThe€issues€before€this€Court€are€as€follow:Ìà
