Id .at774.We h+&* furtherrecognizethattherecordscustodianisputtoanexpensivetimeconsumingexercisewhich  wouldnotbepresentwithrespecttoanindividualwhoappearsinperson;butthisisaneffortand  expensethatisrequiredbythepublicpolicyofthisstateasestablishedbytheLegislature.Itshould  benoted,however,thattherecordscustodian canrequire[onewhocannotappearinperson]topay t inadvancethereasonablecostsofproducingordeliveringcopiesoftherecords. L    Intheinstantcase,therespondenthasraisedaverygeneralclaimthat [m]uchofthe $ t requestedmaterialmaybeprivilegedasattorneyworkproductorotherwiseprivileged.Sucha  ` generalclaimofconfidentialityisnotsufficient. Id .,at*7.Iftherespondentisgoingtorelyona  L  defenseofconfidentiality,hemustidentifythoseportionsofthepetitionersrequest whichwould  8  requiredisclosureofconfidentialrecords. Id .,at*11.Werecognizethatthismayrequirethe $  respondenttoreviewtherequestedfiles.This,however,doesnotrunafoulof Wallers statement   thattherequestingcitizen mustsufficientlyidentifythosedocumentssothattherecordscustodian   canproduceandcopythosedocumentswithouttherequirementofasearchbytherecords   custodian. Waller ,16S.W.3dat774(emphasisadded).Thesearchthatmayberequiredtoferret   outconfidentialmatterintheinstantcaseisnottheresultofanimprecisedescriptionofthe p requestedmaterial.Therequestedmaterialisverypreciselydescribed.Rather,thesearch,ifone \ becomesnecessary,isrequiredbecauseoftherespondentsdutynottoproduceconfidentialmaterial H andhisdutyundertheActtospecifywhyheisnotproducingsomeportionoftherequestedmaterial. 4 SeeTenn.CodeAnn.107505(b).  p @)V.
