AlthoughtherecordonappealdoesnotincludeatranscriptofthedefendantsApril1995guiltypleahearing,itreflectsthatthecaserelatedtothedefendantreceivingacheckfor$2,916.00thatwasissuedtohisformeremployerbyathirdparty.Thedefendantendorsedanddepositedthecheckintohispersonalaccount.TherecordindicatesthatthedefendantsguiltypleawaspursuanttoanagreementwiththestateandthatthestatewouldrecommendafouryearsentenceasaRangeIIoffender.A probationhearingwassetforalaterdate. /   ׀ However,onthedayoftheprobationhearing,thedefendantfiledamotiontowithdrawhisguiltyplea.Inthemotion,personallysignedbyhim,thedefendantallegedthatatthetimeofhisguiltyplea,hewasgoingthroughadivorceproceedingandwasunderheavypressureandthreatsofalongersentence. 0   ׀Thetrialcourtstatedthatitwouldnothearthemotiontowithdrawatthattime,butwouldentertainamotiononceatranscriptoftheguiltypleahearinghadbeenprepared.Thedefendantpersistedinattemptingtoexplainwhyhewantedtowithdrawhisguiltyplea.Ultimately,thetrialcourtsaiditwasgoingtodenythedefendantsmotionbaseduponitsrecollectionthatthedefendanthadenteredhispleavoluntarily,knowinglyandintelligentlyanduponitssuspicionsthatthedefendantwasattemptingtomanipulatethecasebywithdrawingthepleaatsuchalatedate.However,thetrialcourtalsoindicatedthatitwouldentertainamotiontoreconsideriffiled,indicatingthatthedefendantwouldreceiveafullhearingontheissueofhispleaifhesodesired.Attheendofthehearing,thetrialcourtdeniedprobationandallowedthedefendantspreviousattorneytowithdraw.Thedefendantdidnotfileamotiontoreconsider,butchosetoappealinstead. Thedefendantnowarguesthathedidnotenterhispleavoluntarilyandwasnotfullyawareoftheconsequencesofhisplea.Hepointstohisformerattorneynotingattheprobationhearingthatthedefendantwasratherreluctanttoenteraguiltyplea.Heassertsthatthetrialcourtshouldhavesetasidehisguiltypleato correctmanifestinjustice. PursuanttoRule32(f),Tenn.R.Crim.P.,aguiltypleamaybewithdrawnbeforesentencingifa fairandjustreasonisshownandaftersentencing tocorrectmanifestinjustice. 1   ׀However,thedecisiontoallowawithdrawalrestswithinthesounddiscretionofthetrialcourtandisnotsubjecttoreversalunlessthereisanabuseofdiscretion.Statev.Drake,720S.W.2d798,799(Tenn.Crim.App.1986).Inthisrespect,itwasincumbentuponthedefendant,astheappellant,toprepare atranscriptofsuchpartoftheevidenceorproceedingsasisnecessarytoconveyafair,accurateandcompleteaccountofwhattranspiredwithrespecttothoseissuesthatarethebasesofappeal.T.R.A.P.24(b).Unfortunately,inthepresentcasethefailureoftherecordtocontainatranscriptoftheguiltypleahearingprecludesusfromconductingacompletereviewofthetrialcourtrecordrelevanttothequestionofthedefendantsrequestforwithdrawalofhisguiltyplea.Asamatterofpolicywhenfacedwithanincompleterecord,wepresumethattherulingofthetrialcourtwascorrectuponthecompleterecord.SeeStatev.Brown,756S.W.2d700,705(Tenn.Crim.App.1988).
