Thefirstprobationviolationwarrantchargedthattheappellantfailedtoreport,failedtoattenddrugandalcoholtreatment,andfailedtopayfinesandcosts.Asecondwarrantallegedthattheappellanthadusedmarijuana.Thethirdwarrantcitedtheappellantsarrestforunauthorizeduseofhisemployersvehicle,evadingarrest,failuretoobeycurfew,failuretopayfines,andfailuretoperformtherequiredcommunityservicework.Finally,thefourthwarrantagainallegedthattheappellanthadusedmarijuana. Theproofatthehearingindicatedthatappellant,whileundertheintensiveprobationprogram,wouldbesubjecttoonehomecurfewcheckperweek.Overasevenmonthperiod,theappellantmissednineofhiscurfewchecks.Hewasarrestedonaprobationviolationwarrantandappearedincourt.Theappellantmissedthreeadditionalcurfewchecksafterhisappearanceincourt. Anotherconditionofappellantsprobationwasthathereporttohis  probationofficertwiceaweekandtwoweekendsofthemonth.Theprobation        officertestifiedthattheappellantlastreportedinNovember1994.Hefurther  indicatedthattheappellantwaserraticinkeepinghisappointmentsandcurfew. Althoughonedrugscreenwasinadmissible,theappellanttestedpositiveformarijuanaonanotherdrugscreenwhileonprobation.Theprobationofficerinstructedtheappellanttoattendadrugandalcoholprogrambutheattendedonlytwomeetings.Becausetheappellantfailedtoreport,nootherdrugscreenswereconducted. Theappellanthadalsobeenorderedtoperform200hoursofcommunityservice.HewasfirstassignedtoFoodBankwhereaftertwoandonehalfhoursofworkwasrequestednottoreturn.Next,hewastobeplacedatasportscomplexbutaskednottobesentthere.Finally,appellantwasplacedattheHumaneShelterbutagainfailedtoreportforservice. Althoughtheappellanthadbroughtcheckstubstohisprobationofficerasevidenceofemployment,hemadeasinglefiftydollarpaymentonhisfinestotaling$889.Thispaymentwasmadeonthedayofthehearing. Attheconclusionofhistestimony,theprobationofficerindicatedthatcontinuedprobationwouldbefutile.Hesaidthateventhoughhehadcontinuallyurgedtheappellanttocomplywiththeconditionsofhisprobation,theappellantsimplydidnotfollowtherules. Thetrialcourtfoundthattheappellanthadviolatedhisprobationin verysubstantialways,i.e.,failuretoreport,failuretoperformcommunityservice,failuretopayfinesandcosts,failuretoabidebyhiscurfew,andcontinueddruguse.Thecourtconcludedthatalthoughgivenanumberofchancesonprobation,theappellantwasnotgoingtofollowtherules. X  Theappellantnowclaimsthatthetrialcourterredinrevokinghisprobation.Hearguesthatthetrialcourtshouldhaveconsideredperiodicconfinement,workrelease,orotheralternativesentencingprograms.Insupportofhisargument,theappellantsubmitsthathereportedfourorfivetimesamonthbeforetherevocationhearing,thathereportedtohisprobationofficerthathewasworking,andevenmadeapaymentonhisfinesonthedayofcourt.However,wefindthatthisistoolittletoolate.Theappellanthadbeengivennumerousopportunitiestoredeemhimselfandprovetothecourtthathecouldabidebythetermsandconditionsofprobation.Yet,eachtime,hefailed. Theappellantalsosuggeststhatthetrialcourthadthealternativetomodifythetermsandconditionsofprobationsuchasextendingtheperiodofprobationorincreasingtheconditionsofsupervision.Becausetheappellantwasonthehighestformofintensifiedprobation, 3   ׀suchaclaimhasnobasis. Thetrialcourthastheauthoritytorevokeprobationandreinstatetheoriginalsentence,ifitfinds,byapreponderanceoftheevidence,thattheprobationerhasviolatedtheconditionsofhisorherprobation.Tenn.CodeAnn.4035311(d)(1990).Therevocationofasuspendedsentencerestsinthesounddiscretionofthetrialjudgeandwillnotbeoverturnedabsentanabuseofthatdiscretion.Statev.Mitchell,810S.W.2d733,735(Tenn.Crim.App.1991).ForthisCourttofindanabuseofdiscretionandreversethetrialcourtsrevocationofprobation,itmustbedemonstratedthattherecordcontainsnosubstantialevidencetosupporttheconclusionofthetrialjudgethataviolationoftheconditionsofprobationhasoccurred.Statev.Delp,614S.W.2d395,398(Tenn.Crim.App.1980).Here,theevidenceamplysupportsthetrialcourtsdecision.Wefindnoabuseofdiscretion.
