àThe€defendant€pled€guilty€to€four€counts€of€theft€of€property€over€tenÏthousand€dollars€($10,000)€but€under€sixty€thousand€dollars€($60,000),€a€Class€C€felony,Ïand€one€count€of€theft€of€property€over€one€thousand€dollars€($1000)€but€under€tenÏthousand€dollars€($10,000),€a€Class€D€felony.€€Following€a€sentencing€hearing,€the€trialÏcourt€sentenced€him€ññœññas€a€Range€I€standard€offender€toññ›ññ€five€years€ññœññin€prisonññ›ññ€for€each€ClassÏC€felony€and€four€years€ññœññin€prisonññ›ññ€for€the€Class€D€felony.€€The€sentences€on€three€of€theÏClass€C€felonies€were€to€run€consecutively,€with€all€other€sentences€running€concurrently,Ïfor€an€effective€sentence€of€fifteen€years.€€The€defendant€now€appeals,€arguing€that€theÏtrial€court€imposed€an€excessive€sentence,€erred€in€ordering€some€of€the€sentences€to€runÏconsecutively,€and€erred€in€denying€alternative€sentencing.€€Finding€no€reversible€error,Ïwe€affirm.ÌÌà ¨ àà àAccording€to€the€presentence€report,€the€defendant€sold€several€stolenÏvehicles€to€undercover€police€officers€over€a€period€of€approximately€two€months.€€He€wasÏalso€observed€looking€under€the€hood€of€another€stolen€vehicle€and€ññœññð ðbehavingññ›ññ€ññœññstrangely.ððññ›ññ€ÏWhen€the€defendant€entered€an€open€plea€of€guilty€to€these€charges,€several€otherÏpending€charges€were€dismissed.€€The€presentence€report€also€reflects€that€theÏdefendant€has€numerous€prior€convictions,€including€resisting€arrest,€two€counts€of€drivingÏwith€a€suspended€license,€evading€arrest,€and€criminal€impersonation.€€He€also€hasÏeighteen€juvenile€charges€for€which€he€either€received€pretrial€diversion€or€an€informalÏadjudication.ÌÌà ¨ àà àAt€the€sentencing€hearing,€the€defendantððs€mother€testified€that€she€knewÐ †6&-0 Ðthe€defendant€sold€marijuana€ð ðnow€and€thenðð€and€ññœññññœññhad€hadññ›ññññ›ññ€several€ð ðodd€jobs.ðð€€AlthoughÐ †6&-2 Ðshe€has€wanted€her€son€to€obtain€a€GED,€she€believed€he€was€on€a€ð ðget€rich€quick€plan.ððÌÌà ¨ àà àThe€defendant,€who€was€twenty€years€old€at€the€time€of€the€crimes,€testifiedÏhe€was€expelled€from€high€school€in€the€tenth€grade€and€had€not€obtained€a€GED.€€HeÏadmitted€having€several€prior€misdemeanor€convictions,€but€some€of€the€charges€broughtÏagainst€him€as€a€juvenile€he€claimed€not€to€remember.€€He€admitted€burglarizing€a€trainÏwhen€he€was€a€juvenile,€and€he€also€admitted€having€a€prior€adult€probation€term€revokedÏbecause€he€was€arrested€on€another€charge.€€He€testified€that€when€he€violated€hisÏprobation,€he€spent€twenty€days€in€jail,€which€made€him€realize€he€did€not€want€to€doÏanything€that€would€cause€him€to€return€to€jail.€€ññœññYet,€he€admitted€that€since€he€had€spentÏtime€in€jail,€he€had€committed€other€misdemeanor€crimes,€and€heññ›ññ€explained€his€recentÏactions€of€selling€stolen€cars€as€ð ðslipp[ing]€through€the€ññœññsystem.ððÌññ›ññÌà ¨ àà àHe€admitted€selling€marijuana€for€the€past€two€to€three€years,€but€he€deniedÏññœññselling€it€since€the€birth€of€his€son,€which€was€shortly€after€the€crimes€in€the€instant€caseÏwere€committed,€and€he€denied€everññ›ññ€using€ññœññit.ññ›ññ€€When€asked€to€divulge€the€name€of€theÏindividual€who€sold€marijuana€to€him,€he€initially€refused,€but€then€identified€him€only€asÏð ðChuck.ðð€€He€testified€that€part€of€his€bond€money€came€from€selling€marijuana.ÌÌà ¨ àà àHe€denied€ever€stealing€cars,€instead€insisting€that€he€only€sold€the€stolenÏcars€as€part€of€a€sting€operation.€€He€testified€he€sold€the€stolen€cars€in€order€to€buyÏnecessary€care€items€for€his€son,€but€he€also€admitted€using€his€profits€to€help€make€bondÏin€the€instant€case.€€He€admitted€that€the€trial€court€judge€should€not€believe€he€couldÏabide€by€the€terms€of€probation€given€his€criminal€history,€but€he€maintained€that€he€hadÏchanged€since€his€son€was€born.ÌÐ L6ì,2 Ðà ¨ àà àThe€defendant€testified€his€longest€employment€lasted€four€months,€evenÏthough€the€presentence€report€reflects€no€verifiable€employment€at€all.€€He€admitted€notÏbeing€candid€by€not€disclosing€prior€employment€at€the€Tennessean€when€he€completedÏa€form€for€the€preparer€of€the€presentence€report,€explaining€that€he€had€only€worked€atÏthe€Tennessean€for€two€or€three€days€and€was€afraid€the€short€length€of€his€employmentÏwould€reflect€poorly€upon€him.€€He€also€testified€he€had€been€employed€at€an€Exxon€gasÏstation€at€Harding€Place€and€Harding€Road€for€the€past€two€months€and€that€he€continuedÏto€work€there.€€He€did€not€bring€any€pay€stubs€as€proof€of€employment,€but€he€testifiedÏthat€the€name€of€the€store€manager,€his€supervisor,€was€David€West,€and€he€provided€theÏcourt€with€a€phone€number€where€West€could€be€reached.ÌÌà ¨ àà àThe€final€witness€at€the€sentencing€hearing€was€Barry€Tidwell,€a€courtÏofficer.€€Tidwell€testified€he€called€the€phone€number€provided€by€the€defendant,€whichÏwas€actually€a€beeper€number.€€He€testified€an€individual€who€sounded€young€andÏidentified€himself€as€David€West€returned€his€call€and€confirmed€that€the€defendantÏworked€for€him€for€ð ða€little€while.ðð€€When€asked€to€define€ð ða€little€while,ðð€West€answeredÏð ðmaybe€a€month€or€two.ðð€€According€to€Tidwell,€West€confirmed€the€location€of€the€ExxonÏstation€and€that€he€was€the€manager.€€Tidwell€testified€that€after€his€conversation€withÏWest,€he€called€the€phone€number€listed€in€the€phone€book€for€the€Exxon€station€atÏHarding€Place€and€Harding€Road.€€Tidwell€testified€he€spoke€with€an€employee€whoÏconfirmed€that€West€worked€there€but€was€not€the€manager€and€that€the€manager,€whoÏwas€female,€was€not€on€the€premises€at€the€time.€€According€to€Tidwell,€the€employeeÏalso€stated€that€no€person€named€ð ðJuan€Bryantðð€was€employed€at€the€station.ÌÌà ¨ àà àAt€the€conclusion€of€the€sentencing€hearing,€defense€counsel€asked€the€trialÏcourt€to€consider€the€defendantððs€youth€as€a€mitigating€factor.€€In€determining€theÐ L6ì,2 Ðdefendantððs€sentences,€the€trial€court€first€applied€the€following€enhancement€factors€toÏall€counts:€(1)€that€the€defendant€has€a€history€of€criminal€convictions€or€criminal€behaviorÏin€addition€to€those€necessary€to€establish€the€appropriate€range;€(2)€that€the€defendantÏwas€a€leader€in€the€commission€of€the€offense€involving€two€or€more€criminal€actors;€andÏ(20)€that€the€defendant€was€adjudicated€to€have€committed€a€delinquent€act€or€acts€asÏa€juvenile€that€would€constitute€a€felony€if€convicted€as€an€adult.€€òòSeeóó€T.C.A.€ññœññðð€40„35„Ð \ü  Ð114(1),ññ›ññ€(2),€(20).€€The€trial€court€gave€enhancement€factors€(1)€and€(20)€ð ðvery€greatÏweight.ðð€€To€all€case€numbers€except€2082,€the€trial€court€applied€enhancement€factor€(8),Ïthat€the€defendant€has€a€previous€history€of€unwillingness€to€comply€with€the€conditionÏof€a€sentence€involving€release€in€the€community,€which€the€trial€court€gave€ð ðgreatÏweight.ðð€€òòSeeóó€T.C.A.€ññœññðð€40„35„114(8).ññ›œ›ññ€ññœññ€Theññ›ññ€trial€court€also€gave€ð ðgreat€weightðð€toÐ Xø Ðenhancement€factor€(13),€that€the€felony€was€committed€while€he€was€on€a€form€ofÏrelease€status,€which€the€trial€court€applied€to€all€case€numbers€except€2083.€€òòSeeóó€T.C.A.Ð ð Ðññœññðð€40„35„114(13).ññ›ññ€€The€only€mitigating€factor€found,€which€applied€to€all€cases,€was€(1),Ïthat€the€defendant€neither€caused€nor€threatened€serious€bodily€injury.€€òòSeeóó€T.C.A.€ññœññðð€40„Ð ˆ"( Ð35„113(1).ññ›ññ€€Based€on€these€findings,€the€trial€court€imposed€a€five€year€sentence€for€caseÏnumbers€2082,€2083,€2084,€and€2085€and€a€four€year€sentence€in€case€number€2696.ÌÌà ¨ àà àWith€regard€to€whether€the€sentences€would€run€concurrently€orÏconsecutively,€the€trial€court€found€that€the€defendant€had€an€extensive€criminal€historyÏand€was€a€professional€criminal€who€knowingly€devoted€his€life€to€criminal€acts€as€a€majorÏsource€of€livelihood.€€The€trial€court€also€found€that€ññœññconsecutiveññ›ññ€ññœññsentencingññ›ññ€related€to€theÏseverity€of€the€offenses€and€was€necessary€to€protect€the€public.€€The€trial€court€foundÏthat€case€number€2083€must€run€consecutively€to€the€other€cases€because€the€defendantÏwas€released€on€bail€in€that€case€when€he€committed€the€other€offenses.€€Based€on€this,Ïthe€trial€court€imposed€an€effective€sentence€of€fifteen€years€by€ordering€case€numberÐ L6ì,2 Ð2082€to€run€consecutively€to€all€cases,€case€number€2083€to€run€consecutively€to€allÏcases,€and€case€numbers€2084,€2085,€and€2696€to€run€concurrently€with€each€other€butÏconsecutively€to€case€numbers€2082€and€2083.ÌÌà ¨ àà àBecause€of€the€length€of€the€sentence€imposed,€the€trial€court€found€thatÏthe€defendant€was€not€eligible€for€probation.€€Moreover,€the€trial€court€found€thatÏconfinement€was€necessary€to€protect€society,€that€confinement€was€necessary€to€avoidÏdepreciating€the€seriousness€of€the€offense,€that€confinement€would€provide€an€effectiveÏdeterrence€to€others,€and€that€measures€less€restrictive€than€confinement€had€beenÏfrequently€or€recently€applied€to€the€defendant€without€success.€€Further,€the€trial€courtÏfound€that€the€defendant€had€ð ðno€understandingðð€of€how€his€crimes€affected€the€victimsÏand€that€he€was€a€ð ðwalking€crime€wave.ðð€€In€so€finding,€the€trial€court€denied€theÏdefendant€alternative€sentencing.ÌÌà ¨ àà àThe€defendant€first€argues€that€the€imposed€sentence€is€excessive.€ÏSpecifically,€he€claims€that€there€is€no€proof€in€the€record€to€support€application€ofÏenhancement€factor€(2),€that€he€was€a€leader€in€the€commission€of€an€offense€involvingÏtwo€or€more€criminal€actors.€€òòSeeóó€T.C.A.€ðð€40„35„114(2).€€In€applying€this€enhancementÐ ì'Œ" Ðfactor,€the€trial€court€found€that€the€defendant€met€with€the€undercover€police€officers€ð ðandÏwas€mainly€involved€in€negotiating€things.ðð€€The€record€supports€this€finding.€€Thus,€thisÏenhancement€factor€was€properly€applied€to€all€convictions.ÌÌà ¨ àà àThe€defendant€also€contends€that€the€record€does€not€support€theÏapplication€of€enhancement€factor€(20),€that€he€was€adjudicated€to€have€committed€aÏdelinquent€act€or€acts€as€a€juvenile€that€would€constitute€a€felony€if€committed€by€an€adult,Ïbecause€the€presentence€report€fails€to€reflect€any€juvenile€adjudications€at€all.€€€òòSeeóóÐ L6ì,2 ÐT.C.A.€ðð€40„35„114(20).€€The€State€concedes,€and€the€record€reflects,€that€theÏdefendantððs€juvenile€acts€that€would€have€constituted€ññœññfeloniesññ›ññ€if€committed€by€an€adultÏwere€not€adjudicated,€but€rather€were€resolved€by€pretrial€diversion€or€dismissal.€€ññœññAs€such,Ïthere€is€no€basis€upon€which€to€apply€enhancement€factor€(20).ÌÌà ¨ àà àAdditionally,€the€defendant€argues€that€the€trial€court€erred€in€failing€toÏmitigate€his€sentence€on€the€basis€that€he€lacked€substantial€judgment€because€of€hisÏyouth.€€The€record€shows€only€that€the€defendant€was€twenty€years€old€at€the€time€heÏcommitted€the€crimes€in€this€case.€€The€record€fails€to€show€that€his€youth€caused€him€toÏlack€substantial€judgment.€€The€defendant€also€argues€the€trial€court€erred€in€failing€toÏmitigate€his€sentence€on€the€basis€that€he€was€motivated€by€a€desire€to€provideÏnecessities€for€his€family.€€The€record€shows€that€the€defendant€committed€these€crimesÏbefore€his€son€was€born€and€that€the€trial€court€judge€questioned€what€ð ðnecessitiesðð€theÏdefendant€sought€to€provide€for€his€unborn€son.€€The€record€also€indicates€that€theÏdefendant€had€the€ability€to€obtain€employment,€but€that€he€chose€instead€to€sellÏmarijuana€and€stolen€cars€while€allowing€his€mother€to€financially€support€his€child.€€GivenÏthis,€the€trial€court€did€not€err€in€refusing€to€apply€these€mitigating€factors.€€ÌÌà ¨ àà àEven€though€the€trial€court€erred€in€applying€enhancement€factor€(20),€theÏdefendant€has€not€carried€his€burden€of€showing€that€the€imposed€sentence€is€excessive,Ïgiven€the€number€of€applicable€enhancement€factors,€the€heavy€weight€ñ‰ñtheÏtrialÏcourtÏñ‰ñplaced€onÏenhancement€factors€(1),€(8),€and€(13),€and€the€little€weight€accorded€to€mitigating€factorÏ(1).€€òòSeeóó€T.C.A.€ðð€40„35„401(d)€Sentencing€Commission€Comments.€€Moreover,€ñ…ñtheÐ è0ˆ', Ðrecord€reflects€that€ñ…ñin€applying€the€applicable€enhancement€and€mitigating€factors,€theÏtrial€court€properly€began€at€the€minimum€sentence€in€the€range,€first€enhancing€theÏsentence€as€appropriate€and€then€mitigating€the€sentence€as€appropriate.€€òòSeeóó€T.C.A.€ððÐ L6ì,2 Ð40„35„210(e).ñ†ñ€€Accordingly,€theÐ Hè  Ðdefendant€has€not€carried€his€burden€of€showing€how€the€sentence€imposed€is€excessive.ñ†ññ‡ñ€€No€reversible€error€has€been€shown.ñ‡ññˆñ€òòóóñˆñÌÌà ¨ àà àThe€defendant€next€complains€that€the€trial€court€erred€in€orderingÏconsecutive€sentences.€€He€does€not€challenge€the€trial€courtððs€determination€that€caseÏnumber€2083€must€run€consecutively€because€he€was€released€on€bail€in€that€case€whenÏhe€committed€the€other€offenses.€Rather,€he€argues€that€with€respect€to€the€otherÏconsecutive€sentences,€the€trial€court€erred€in€finding€him€to€be€a€professional€criminalÏand€to€have€an€extensive€criminal€record.ÌÌà ¨ àà àA€trial€court€has€the€discretion€to€order€consecutive€sentences€by€finding€byÏa€preponderance€of€the€evidence€that€one€of€various€circumstances€apply.€€òòSeeóó€T.C.A.Ð Xø Ððð€40„35„115(b).€€Two€of€those€circumstances€are€if€the€defendant€ð ðis€a€professionalÏcriminal€who€has€knowingly€devoted€such€defendantððs€life€to€criminal€acts€as€a€majorÏsource€of€livelihoodðð€or€if€the€defendant€ð ðis€an€offender€whose€record€of€criminal€activityÏis€extensive.ðð€€T.C.A.ññ›ññ€ðð€40„35„115(b)(1),€(2).€€Either€of€these€findings,€plus€findings€thatÏan€extended€sentence€is€necessary€to€protect€the€public€against€further€criminal€conductÏby€the€defendant€and€that€the€consecutive€sentences€reasonably€relate€to€the€severity€ofÏthe€offenses€committed,€will€justify€consecutive€sentencing.€€òòSeeóó€òòState€v.€Wilkersonóó,€905Ð ì'Œ" ÐS.W.2d€933,€938€(Tenn.€1995).ÌÌà ¨ àà àHere,€the€record€reflects€that€the€defendant€has€chosen€to€make€moneyÏthrough€criminal€acts,€even€though€he€is€capable€of€earning€a€legitimate€salary.€€AlthoughÏhe€was€twenty„one€years€old€at€the€time€of€the€sentencing€hearing€and€left€high€schoolÏearly,€he€testified€that€his€longest€length€of€employment€was€four€months.€€ññœññTñŠñhe€trial€court€found€the€defendant€has€been€legitimately€employed€only€two€monthsÏof€his€adult€life,€and€while€the€defendant€testified€his€longest€œterm›€of€employment€wasÏfour€months,€tñŠñheññ›ññÏpresentence€report€ññœññofficerñ‹ñ,€however,ñ‹ñññ›ññ€could€not€verify€any€employment€at€all.€€ññœññThe€onlyÏverifiable€income€came€from€the€defendantððs€criminal€acts,€and€he€admitted€using€thoseÐ L6ì,2 Ðproceedsññ›ññ€ññœññtoññ›ññ€make€bond€in€this€case.€€Given€these€circumstances,€the€trial€court€did€notÏerr€in€finding€that€the€defendant€is€a€professional€criminal€who€has€knowingly€devoted€hisÏlife€to€criminal€acts€as€a€major€source€of€livelihood.€€òòSeeóó€T.C.A.€ðð€40„35„115(b)(1).Ð ø ˜ ÐÌà ¨ àà àAlternatively,€given€that€the€defendant,€only€twenty€years€old€at€the€time€heÏcommitted€the€instant€crimes,€has€six€prior€convictions€as€an€adult,€admitted€sellingÏmarijuana€for€two€or€three€years,€and€admitted€several€criminal€acts€as€a€juvenile,€theÏrecord€supports€the€trial€courtððs€finding€that€the€defendant€has€an€extensive€record€ofÏcriminal€activity.€€òòSeeóó€T.C.A.€ðð€40„35„115(b)(2).€€Moreover,€the€record€supports€the€trialÐ À` Ðcourtððs€findings€that€an€extended€sentence€is€necessary€to€protect€the€public€againstÏfurther€criminal€conduct€by€the€defendant€and€that€consecutive€sentencing€reasonablyÏrelates€to€the€severity€of€the€offenses€committed.€€Thus,€the€defendantððs€challenge€to€hisÏconsecutive€sentences€must€fail.ÌÌà ¨ àà àAs€a€corollary,€the€defendant€complains€that€his€codefendant€received€aÏshorter€effective€sentence€than€he€did.€€Attached€to€the€defendantððs€motion€to€alter€hisÏsentence€are€his€codefendantððs€judgments,€which€reflect€his€codefendant€was€convictedÏon€the€same€charges€and€sentenced,€by€a€different€trial€court€judge,€to€five€years€on€eachÏClass€C€felony€and€four€years€on€the€Class€D€felony,€like€the€defendant.€€However,€hisÏcodefendantððs€sentences€were€ordered€to€run€concurrently,€ññœññwithññ›ññ€thirty€days€in€aÏññœññworkhouseñ‹ñ›ñ‹ñ€andññ›ññ€the€balance€ññœññinññ›ññ€the€community€corrections€program.€€The€defendantÏcomplains€his€and€his€codefendantððs€sentences€are€unfairly€disparate€and€that€hisÏcodefendant€is€more€deserving€of€consecutive€sentencing€because€his€codefendantððsÏprior€criminal€record€is€more€extensive€and€ññœññreflects€more€serious€crimes.ññ›ññÌÌà ¨ àà àThe€defendant€properly€asserts€that€one€of€the€purposes€of€the€CriminalÐ L6ì,2 ÐSentencing€Reform€Act€of€1989€is€to€eliminate€ð ðunjustified€disparity€in€sentencing.ðð€€ññœññòòñŒñSeeñŒñóóñŒñ€ñŒñT.C.A.ññ›ññÐ `  Ððð€40„35„102(2).€€He€has€not€shown,€however,€how€any€disparity€between€his€sentencesÏand€his€codefendantððs€sentences€might€be€unjustified.€€The€record€in€this€case€does€notÏcontain€any€indication€of€whether€the€codefendantððs€sentences€were€negotiated,€whatÏproof€was€presented€at€the€codefendantððs€sentencing€hearing,€and€what€findings€wereÏmade€by€the€trial€court€judge€who€sentenced€the€codefendant.€€Even€if€the€record€didÏcontain€such€information,€the€defendant€has€not€shown€reversible€error€because€mereÏdisparity€in€two€different€trial€judgeððs€sentences€should€not€cause€this€Court€to€disturb€oneÏof€the€sentences€when€the€record€contains€ample€proof€to€support€it.€€Thus,€theÏdefendantððs€argument€must€fail.ÌÌà ¨ àà àFinally,€the€defendant€argues€the€trial€court€erred€in€denying€him€alternativeÏsentencing€because€he€was€eligible€for€the€community€corrections€program.€€Although€theÏdefendant€appears€to€be€eligible€to€participate€in€the€community€corrections€programÏunder€T.C.A.€ðð€40„36„106(a),€mere€eligibility€does€not€equate€with€entitlement.€€òòSeeóó€òòStateÐ ˆ"( Ðv.€Grigsbyóó,€957€S.W.2d€541,€547€(Tenn.€Crim.€App.€1997)(citing€òòState€v.€Grandberryóó,€803Ð T$ô ÐS.W.2d€706,€707€(Tenn.€Crim.€App.€1990)).ÌÌà ¨ àà àThe€trial€court€specifically€found,€òòinter€aliaóó,€that€confinement€was€necessaryÐ ¸)X $ Ðto€protect€society€by€restraining€a€defendant€with€a€long€history€of€criminal€conduct€andÏthat€measures€less€restrictive€than€confinement€have€frequently€or€recently€been€appliedÏto€the€defendant€without€success.€€òòSeeóó€T.C.A.€ðð€40„35„103(1)(A),€(C).€€The€record€showsÐ /¼%* Ðthat€the€defendant€has€frequently€engaged€in€criminal€behavior.€€He€was€involved€in€theÏpretrial€diversion€program€as€a€juvenile€and€admitted€that€he€continued€his€criminalÏactivities€because€ð ðit€was€something€to€do€at€the€timeðð€and€he€could€ð ðget€away€with€itÏwithout€great€punishment.ðð€€As€an€adult,€he€continued€to€commit€crimes€and€receivedÐ L6ì,2 Ðsuspended€sentences,€time€served,€and€probation,€which€was€revoked€when€he€wasÏcharged€with€new€offenses.€€He€spent€twenty€days€in€jail€on€a€prior€offense€and€testifiedÏthat€it€had€an€impact€on€him,€but€when€asked€to€explain€why€he€then€committed€theÏoffenses€in€the€instant€case,€he€replied€only€that€he€ññœññð ðjustññ›ññ€slipped€through€the€system.ðð€€HeÏeven€testified€that€based€on€his€prior€behavior,€the€trial€court€judge€should€not€believe€thatÏhe€could€abide€by€the€terms€of€release.€€This€evidence€amply€supports€the€trial€courtððsÏfindings.ÌÌà ¨ àà àMoreover,€lack€of€candor€reflects€poorly€on€a€defendantððs€potential€forÏrehabilitation,€which€is€a€relevant€consideration€in€determining€whether€alternativeÏsentencing€is€appropriate.€€T.C.A.€ðð€40„35„103(5);€òòState€v.€Dowdyóó,€894€S.W.2d€301,€306Ð Xø Ð(Tenn.€Crim.€App.€1994).€€Here,€the€defendant€admitted€withholding€employmentÏinformation€from€the€officer€who€prepared€the€presentence€report.€€It€also€appears€heÏmisrepresented€to€the€court€that€he€was€employed€at€Exxon€at€the€time€of€the€sentencingÏhearing.€€Given€all€of€the€circumstances€in€this€case,€a€sentence€of€confinement€wasÏjustified.ÌÌà àIn€sum,€the€defendant€has€not€shown€reversible€error€with€regard€to€theÏlength€of€the€sentences€imposed€by€the€trial€court.€€Moreover,€the€record€supports€theÏconsecutive€nature€of€his€sentences€and€the€trial€courtððs€denial€of€alternative€sentencing.€ÏAccordingly,€the€defendantððs€sentences€are€affirmed.ÌññœññÔ‡
