AppellantwasarrestedonJanuary14,1981.Hewassubsequentlyindictedontwoseparatecountsofaggravatedrape.HewenttotrialononecountonMay13,1982andwasconvictedbyajury.Hewassentencedtotwenty(20)yearsimprisonment.Hewasgivenjailcreditof485dayswithhissentencebeingeffectiveonJanuary14,1981.Ontheothercount,heenteredaguiltypleaonOctober8,1982.Hissentencewasfortwenty(20)yearstorunconcurrentlytohisothertwenty(20)yearsentence.ThissentencewaseffectiveOctober8,1982. Inhismotiontothetrialcourt,theAppellantaskedforthe485days,beforehewasconvictedinthejurytrial,and148days,thedaysbetweenhisconvictionandhisguiltyplea,foratotalof633days,tobeappliedtohisϜsentencearisingoutofhisguiltyplea.ThetrialcourtsorderdenyingtheAppellantsmotionstateditsreasonsasfollows:    `   1.ThatthedefendantisnotentitledtojailcreditforhisguiltypleaonOctober8,1992[sic].St.v.Moore814S.W.2d381(Tenn.Crim.App.)(Tenn.1991)̛2.ThatthisCourtdoesnothavejurisdictiontoaddressthedefendantsgrievance.ThismustbeaddressedthroughtheAdministrativeProceduresAct.JamesA.Vaughnv.State,No.Ϝ01C019308CR00258(Tenn.Crim.App.,Nashville,Feb.24,1994)        Atrialcourtsjudgmentbecomefinalthirtydaysafteritsentryunlessatimelynoticeofappealorspecifiedposttrialmotionisfiled.Statev.Moore,814S.W.2d381,382(Tenn.Crim.App.1991).Thetrialcourtgenerallylosesjurisdictiontoamendanorderonceithasbecomefinal.Moore,814S.W.2dat382.ThereisnothingtoshowthattheAppellantappealedhissentencingfollowinghisguiltyplea.Therefore,thethirtydayshaspassedandthetrialcourtdoesnothavejurisdictiontoamendthejudgment. Furthermore,thiscourthasheldonmorethanoneoccasionthatonceaprisonerisinthecustodyoftheDepartmentofCorrections,thetrialcourtnolongerhasjurisdictionoverthedefendantssentencereductioncredits,andtheproperavenuetoaddresssentencereductioncreditsisthroughtheAdministrativeProcedureAct,TennesseeCodeAnnotatedsection45101et.seq.E.g.MauriceHughleyv.State,No.03C019403CR00116,KnoxCounty(Tenn.Crim.App.,Knoxville,filedFeb.13,1995);JamesA.Vaughnv.State,No.01C019308CR00258(Tenn.Crim.App.,Nashville,Feb.24,1994);VioletB.Daltonv.State,No.03C019308CR00248,KnoxCounty(Tenn.Crim.App.,Knoxville,filedDec.22,1993). Therefore,thetrialcourtdidnothavejurisdictiontoruleontheAppellantsϜmotion,andproperlydeniedthemotion.AppellantshouldseekreliefthroughtheAdministrativeProcedureActtocorrectanyperceivedproblemwithhisjailcredits.
