Thesingleissuepresentedforreviewiswhethertheevidencewassufficienttoconvict.Weaffirmthejudgmentofthetrialcourt.  At1:58A.M.onOctober9,1993,OfficerDavidWhiteoftheLawrenceburgPoliceDepartmentstoppedacardrivenbythedefendantafterithadcrossedoverthecenterlinethreetimes.Theofficerdetectedslurredspeechandthesmellofalcohol.Thedefendantwasunsuccessfulinhisattempttosatisfactorilyperformthreefieldsobrietytests:thefingertonose,theonelegstance,andtheheeltotoe.WhileacknowledgingthathecouldnotrememberthespecificsoftheencounterexceptforstoppingthedefendantonHighway64andtransportinghimtothecountyjail,theofficerbasedhistrialtestimonyonnoteshehadincludedinthearrestreport.  Thedefendant,whohadbeentoafootballgametheeveningbefore,testifiedthathehadnorecollectionofcrossingtheenterline.Whileadmittingthathehaddrunkthreeorfourbeerswithinafortyminuteperiod,justaboutahalfhourbeforehisarrest,thedefendantclaimedthathewasnotimpairedbutmerelytiredfromlackofsleepthenightbefore.Heblamedhisinabilitytoperformfieldsobrietytestsonabackinjury.  Thetrialcourtfoundthedefendantguiltybased,ingreatmeasure,uponhisadmissionthathehadconsumed"3or4beersnottoolongbeforethisarrestoccurred."Inchallengingthesufficiencyoftheevidence,thedefendantassertsthattheproofwaschieflycircumstantialandthatalcoholordinarilytakesanhourormore"tometabolizefromthestomachintothebloodstream."  Onappeal,however,thestateisentitledtothestrongestlegitimateviewoftheevidenceandallreasonableinferenceswhichmaybedrawntherefrom.Statev.Cabbage,571S.W.2d832,835(Tenn.1978).Thiscourtmayneitherreweighnorreevaluatetheproofintroducedattrial.Id.Anyconflictsinthetestimonymustberesolvedinfavorofthestate.Statev.Hatchett,560S.W.2d627,630(Tenn.1978).Thedeterminativequestion,whetherreviewisofajuryverdictorthefindingofthetrialjudge,iswhetheranyrationaltrieroffactcouldhavefoundtheessentialelementsofthecrimebeyondareasonabledoubt.Jacksonv.Virginia,443U.S.307,31213(1979);Tenn.R.App.P.13(e).  Aspartofhischallengetothesufficiencyoftheevidence,thedefendantarguesthattheofficer'stestimonywasinadmissiblehearsayandshouldhavebeenexcluded.SeeTenn.R.Evid.803(5)(recollectionrecorded).Thedefendant'sfailuretoobjecttotheadmissionofthisevidenceattrial,however,operatedasawaivertoanyobjectiontotheadmissionoftheevidence.Tenn.R.App.P.36(a).  Thislimitedscopeofreviewcompelsustoaffirmthejudgmentofthetrialcourt.Theevidence,bothcircumstantialanddirect,clearlyestablishedtheessentialelementsofthecrimeofdrivingundertheinfluence.Thetrialjudgeaccreditedthetestimonyofthepoliceofficerandbaseditsconclusion,atleastinpart,uponthedefendant'sadmissionthatheconsumedthreeorfourbeersonlyminutesbeforehisarrest.Inourview,therewasarationalbasisforthefindingofguilt.
