ThetrialcourtimposedathreeyearsentenceintheTennesseeDepartmentofCorrection.Inthisdirectappeal,thedefendantchallengestheadmissionoftestimonybythestatesexpert,BuddyKimsey,regardingtheamountoftheft.Afterareviewoftherecord,thebriefsoftheparties,andtheapplicablelaw,weaffirm. Thefollowingfactsweregleanedfromtherecordsuppliedbythedefendant.ThedefendantwasanemployeeofBeatysFeedandFarmSupplyinBradleyCounty,Tennessee.Mr.Beatysuspectedthatthedefendantwasstealingmoneyfromhisbusinessthroughhispositionasacashier.Mr.BeatycontactedBuddyKimsey,acertifiedpublicaccountant,todeterminetheamountoftheft.Kimseytestifiedattrialregardinga53dayperiodoftimeforwhichKimseycalculatedtheamountoflossbythebusiness.ThedefendantobjectedtoKimseystestimonyasmisleadingandspeculative.ThetrialcourtallowedKimseytotestifytocertainfindings.PfPfAfterhearingalltheevidence,thejuryfoundthedefendantguiltyoftheftover$10,000butlessthan$60,000. BeforeKimseytestifiedinfrontofthejury,thetrialjudgelistenedtohisproposedtestimony.Kimseytestifiedhowhecalculatedtheamountoftheft.Herevieweddailyreportsovera53dayperiodwhichshowedthenumberoftimesthedefendantvoidedtransactionsonhisregister.Kimseyassessedadollarvaluetothevoidedtransactions,whichhemaintainedwastheamountoftheftcommitted `6-0 bythedefendant.Kimseydidconcedethatthevoidbuttoncanbeusedforlegitimatereasons,butheassumedatheftoccurredeverytimethevoidPfbuttomPfPfbuttonPfwasusedbythedefendant.ThetrialjudgeoverruledthedefendantsobjectiontoKimseystestimonybyfindingthetestimonywasnotmisleading,andbynotingthatafullcrossexaminationwouldbeallowed.Kimseystestimonyatthejuryouthearingwasessentiallythesameinthejuryspresence. Additionally,QfQfRfQfDURINGTQfRfTfSfDURSfTfUfduringthejuryouthearing,UfKimseycalculatedthetotalsalesduringthe53dayperiodonthedefendantsregister,thencalculatedthepercentageofthetotalthatconstitutedvoidedtransactions.Heappliedthispercentagetototalsalesduringtheperiodfrom1991throughAugust1996.Applyingthepercentage,heassessedatotalamountoftheftforthattimeframe.Thedefendantobjectedtothisfiveandahalfyearprojection,andthecourtsustainedtheobjection.Kimseydidnottestifytothejuryregardingthisprojection.̀ ThedefendantcontendsKimseystestimonywasconfusingandunfairlyprejudicial,andthatthetrialcourtshouldhaveexcludedthetestimonypursuanttoTennesseeRuleofEvidence403.Relevantevidenceisgenerallyadmissible,unless itsprobativevalueissubstantiallyoutweighedbythedangerofunfairprejudice.Tenn.R.Evid.402,403.Indecidingwhetherevidenceismoreprobativethanprejudicial,thetrialcourtmustconsider thequestionsoffactthatthejurywillhavetoconsiderindeterminingtheaccusedsguiltaswellasotherevidencethathasbeenintroducedduringthecourseofthetrial.Statev. 2@), Williamson,919S.W.2d69,78(Tenn.Crim.App.1995)(citingStatev.Dulsworth, 4 +. 781S.W.2d277,287(Tenn.Crim.App.1989)).Thestandardofreviewapplicabletothedecisiontoadmitevidenceisabuseofdiscretion.SeeStatev.Dubose,953 @8.2 S.W.2d649,652(Tenn.1997);Statev.Baker,785S.W.2d132,134(Tenn.Crim.  :04 App.1980).
