Atthehearingonremand,thetrialcourtdeterminedthatthefourremainingpleaswerevalidandwerenotaffectedbytrialcounsel'smultiplerepresentation.Thetrialcourtfoundtherequisitenumberofpriorconvictionstosupportahabitualcriminalconviction.Appellantnowappealsallegingthatthefourremaining1976convictionsweretaintedwithanirreconcilableconflictofinterest.Hecontendsthatthepleaagreementnegotiatedbyhistrialcounselwasa"packagedeal."Specifically,heallegesthathewasgiventhechoiceofpleadingtoallninechargesornoneatall.Therefore,heclaimstheremainingfourconvictionsshouldbevacatedandthehabitualcriminalconvictionsetaside.Werespectfullydisagree.̀ Therecordrevealsthattheappellant'strialcounseldidnotrepresentanycodefendantsontheprosecution'sleadcase.Attheremandhearing,theappellantadmittedthathedidnotwanttogototrialonthefourchargesinquestion. 3   ׀Headmittedthatheunderstoodthepleaagreement.Moreover,headmittedthatheunderstoodhecouldhavepossiblyfacedmoreincarcerationifherejectedthepleaandwasconvictedbyajury. Hereceiveda30yearsentenceontheleadcase.Theremainingsentencesontheotherthreechargeswereorderedtorunconcurrentlytothatcase.Therecordrevealsthattheappellantmadeaknowingandvoluntarychoicetopleadguiltytotheleadcharge.ThisCourtfindsthatthefourconvictionsarevalidanduntainted.Therefore,thehabitualcriminaladjudicationremainsvalid.
