Weaffirmthetrialcourt'sjudgment.  Atabout2:00A.M.onFebruary19,1994,PatrolmanShawnWilliamsoftheBrownsvillePoliceDepartmentwasdispatchedtotheresidenceofMaryEstes.Uponhisarrival,theofficerdeterminedthatthevictim,MarkSangster,hadbeenrobbedatknifepointofabout$40.00.Thevictim,whohadknownthedefendantforatleastsixyearspriortotheincident,providedtheofficerwiththedetailsoftherobberyanddescribedclothesthatthedefendantwaswearing.  ThedefendantresidedattheEstesresidenceatthetimeoftheoffense.Shetestifiedthatthedefendanthadsuggestedtothevictimthattheygosomewheretogamblejustbeforetheylefttheresidence.Sherecalledthatthedefendantreturnedaboutfiveminuteslaterandreportedthathehadbeenrobbed.Ms.Estestestifiedthatthedefendanthadsuggestedearlierthatshehelprobthevictimofhismoneybutthatshehaddeclinedtoparticipate.    Thevictim,whosehealthhaddeterioratedfromthetimeoftheoffenseuntilthetrialduetoanunrelatedillness,testifiedthatthedefendanthadrobbedhimof$40.00.HerememberedthathehadlefttheEstesresidenceaboutanhourbeforereturningtoreporttherobbery.  ThedefendanttestifiedthatonthenightinquestionhehadbeengamblingattheEstesresidencewiththevictim,SamanthaDouglas,TracyLand,andMs.Estes.Sometimeaftermidnight,heandthevictimdecidedtogamblesomemoreattheresidenceofarelative.Thedefendantclaimedthat,attheendoftheevening,hehadrefusedtomakealoantothevictim,whohadlosthismoney.WhileadmittingthathemayhavesaidsomethingtoMs.Estesearlierabouttakingthevictim'smoney,thedefendantinsistedthathewasreferringtotrickeryorcheating,notrobbery.HetestifiedthathenevercarriedaweaponandthatMs.Esteshadamotivetoliebecausehehadrefusedtocashacheckthatwasnotrightfullyhers.  Onappeal,thestateisentitledtothestrongestlegitimateviewoftheevidenceandallreasonableinferenceswhichmightbedrawntherefrom.Statev.Cabbage,571S.W.2d832,835(Tenn.1978).Thecredibilityofthewitnesses,theweighttobegiventheirtestimony,andthereconciliationofconflictsintheproofaremattersentrustedtothejuryastriersoffact.Byrgev.State,575S.W.2d292,295(Tenn.Crim.App.1978).Whenthesufficiencyoftheevidenceischallenged,therelevantquestioniswhether,afterreviewingtheevidenceinthelightmostfavorabletothestate,anyrationaltrieroffactcouldhavefoundtheessentialelementsofthecrimebeyondareasonabledoubt.Statev.Williams,657S.W.2d405,410(Tenn.1983),cert.denied,465U.S.1073(1984);Tenn.R.App.P.13(e).  Aggravatedrobberyisrobberyaccomplishedwiththeuseofadeadlyweapon.Tenn.CodeAnn.3913402(a)(1).Robberyisdefinedas"theintentionalorknowingtheftofpropertyfromthepersonofanotherbyviolenceorputtingthepersoninfear."Tenn.CodeAnn.3913401.Here,therewastestimonythatthedefendantthreatenedthevictimwithaweapon,robbinghimofapproximately$40.00.Thataloneestablishedtheelementsoftheoffense.  Thedefendantclaimsthattheevidenceisinsufficientbecausetherewereconflictsinthetestimonyofthestate'switnesses.Thatistrue,butitistheresponsibilityofthejurytoresolvethesedifferences.Statev.Cabbage,571S.W.2dat876.Here,thejurychosetoaccreditthebasictheoryofthestate.Itwastheirprerogativetodoso.Theevidence,inourview,wassufficientforarationaltrieroffacttohavefoundtheessentialelementsofthecrimeofaggravatedrobberybeyondareasonabledoubt.Jacksonv.Virginia,443U.S.307(1979).
