Theevidenceofthecircumstancesoftheoffensewaspresentedatthesentencinghearingafterthedefendantpleadedguilty.OnJanuary14,1997,thedefendantwasdrivinghisvehicleataspeedof80milesperhourina50mileperhourzone.OfficerClarkpassedthedefendantdrivingintheoppositedirectionandturnedtofollowthedefendantafterclockinghisspeed.OfficerClarkactivatedhisbluelightsanddrovebesidethedefendant.Heobservedthedefendantsvehicleswervingthroughtrafficandcontinuingtoaccelerate.Theycontinueddrivingforapproximatelyamileandahalfuntilthedefendantstoppedhisvehicleandsubmittedtothearrest. Atthetimeofsentencing,the38yearolddefendanthadspentmostofhisadultlifeinandoutofconfinement.Thepresentencereportcontainedan `6-0 extensivecriminalrecord.Thedefendantdidnotcompletehighschool,butheobtainedaGEDin1981.Heplanstostarthisownbusinessofbuildingpalletsafterheisreleased. X_AXX X_AWhenthereisachallengetothelength,range,ormannerofservice  ofasentence,itisthedutyofthiscourttoconductadenovoreviewoftherecord `  withapresumptionthatthedeterminationsmadebythetrialcourtarecorrect.Tenn.CodeAnn.4035401(d)(1997).Thispresumptionis conditionedupontheaffirmativeshowingintherecordthatthetrialcourtconsideredthesentencingprinciplesandallrelevantfactsandcircumstances.Statev.Ashby,823S.W.2d @ 166,169(Tenn.1991). Theburdenofshowingthatthesentenceisimproperisupontheappellant.Id.Intheeventtherecordfailstodemonstratetherequired  considerationbythetrialcourt,reviewofthesentenceispurelydenovo.Id.If  appellatereviewreflectsthetrialcourtproperlyconsideredallrelevantfactorsanditsfindingsoffactareadequatelysupportedbytherecord,thiscourtmustaffirmthesentence, evenifwewouldhavepreferredadifferentresult.Statev.Fletcher,805 %  S.W.2d785,789(Tenn.Crim.App.1991). Inmakingitssentencingdetermination,thetrialcourt,attheconclusionofthesentencinghearing,determinestherangeofsentenceandthendeterminesthespecificsentenceandtheproprietyofsentencingalternativesbyconsidering(1)theevidence,ifany,receivedatthetrialandthesentencinghearing,(2)thepresentencereport,(3)theprinciplesofsentencingandargumentsastosentencingalternatives,(4)thenatureandcharacteristicsofthecriminalconductinvolved,(5)evidenceandinformationofferedbythepartiesontheenhancementandmitigatingfactors,(6)anystatementsthedefendantwishestomakeinthedefendantsbehalfaboutsentencing,and(7)thepotentialforrehabilitationor  :04 treatment.Tenn.CodeAnn.4035210(a),(b)(1997);Tenn.CodeAnn.4035103(5)(1997);Statev.Holland,860S.W.2d53,60(Tenn.Crim.App.1993). @   Therecordofthecaseatbarreflectsthatthetrialcourtengagedinathoroughreviewoftherelevantprinciplesandconsiderations.Accordingly,itsdeterminationisentitledtothepresumptionofcorrectness.  I.       Indeterminingthesentence,thetrialcourtenhancedthedefendantssentencebyapplyingthefollowingfactors: ` (1)Thedefendanthasaprevioushistoryofcriminalconvictionsorcriminalbehaviorinadditiontothosenecessarytoestablishtheappropriaterange;(8)Thedefendanthasaprevioushistoryofunwillingnesstocomplywiththeconditionsofasentenceinvolvingreleaseinthecommunity;(10)Thedefendanthadnohesitationaboutcommittingacrimewhentherisktohumanlifewashigh. ` Tenn.CodeAnn.4035114(1),(8),(10)(1997).ThetrialcourtfoundFFnoFFFFAFFFFAFFFapplicFFFcFFFableFFFmitigatingfactorsFFFwereapplicable.ThetrialcourtfoundFFandthatFFFFFthedefendantwasnotamenabletorehabilitation.Therefore,thecourtimposedthemaximumsentenceoffouryears.ThecourtorderedthedefendanttoservethissentenceconsecutivelytoaDavidsonCountysentencebecausehehasanextensivecriminalrecordandhisbehaviorindicatedlittleornoregardforhumanlife.Thecourtfoundconfinementtobenecessary# X_AXXX_A#X_AXX X_AԀinordertodeterotherslikelytocommitthistypeofoffenseandtoavoid 1P(+ depreciatingtheseriousnessoftheoffense.̀# X_AXXX_A'# p5,/  Thedefendantclaimsthetrialcourtbaseditsapplicationofenhancementfactor(1)onunreliablehearsaycontainedinthepresentencereport. 09/3 Specifically,thedefendantarguesthatthecourtcouldnotfindthatthedefendanthadapriorcriminalrecordunlessthestatehadenteredcertifiedcopiesofthejudgmentsintoevidenceatthesentencinghearing.ThedefendantreliesonState   v.Buck,670S.W.2d600(Tenn.1984),forthepropositionthatcomputerprintouts  areunreliablehearsayandarenotadmissible.InBuck,thesupremecourtheldthat   computerprintoutsfromtheN.C.I.C.arenotadmissibleasasubstituteforcertifiedcopiesofcourtconvictionsnorforanyotherpurpose.Buck,670S.W.2dat607. @   However,asthedefendantconcedes,thepresentencereportisnotacomputerprintoutfromtheN.C.I.C.Thepreparerofthispresentencereporttestifiedthatinformationcontainedinthepresentencereportwasobtainedfromvarioussources,includingacomputerprintoutfromtheN.C.I.C.ThedefendantobjectedtoinformationderivedfromtheN.C.I.C.computerprintout,andthetrialjudgeorderedthisinformationtobestrickenfromthereport.Therefore,anyinformationfromtheN.C.I.C.computerprintoutwasnotconsideredbythetrialcourt. ExcludingtheN.C.I.C.computerprintoutinformation,thedefendantspriorcriminalhistorycontainedconvictionsforescape,theftofproperty,cocainepossession,receiptofstolenproperty,andburglaryintheseconddegree.ThreefelonyconvictionswereusedtoenhancethedefendanttoaRangeIImultipleoffenderpursuanttoTennesseeCodeAnnotatedsection4035106.Theremainingconvictionswereusedtoenhancethelengthofthedefendantssentencebyapplyingenhancementfactor(1).Wefindthetrialcourtproperlyappliedenhancementfactor(1). Next,thedefendantcontendsthatthetrialcourtimproperlyappliedenhancementfactors(8)and(10).Additionally,thedefendantclaimsmitigationfactor(1),defendantsconductneithercausednorthreatenedseriousbodilyinjury,shouldapplytothiscase.SeeTenn.CodeAnn.4035113(1)(1997). .%(  Theenhancementfactorregardinghighrisktohumanlifeappliestoevadingarrestconvictionswhenthecircumstanceswarranttheapplicationofthisfactor.SeeStatev.VirginiaAileneGann,No.01C019704CC00164,slipop.at `6-0 14(Tenn.Crim.App.,Nashville,May27,1998);Statev.JamesRayBartlett,No. @8.2 01C019509CC00302,slipop.at14(Tenn.Crim.App.,Nashville,Apr.7,1998);  :04 Statev.WayneL.Hughes,No.01C019502CC00033,slipop.at16(Tenn.Crim. `  App.,Nashville,June20,1996)(opiniononrehearing).Thedefendantwasswervinginandoutoftrafficonaheavilytraveledroad.ThetrafficwaslightatthetimeofthisFFoffenseF,FFFFFFFF;FFFFFhowever,thepotentialforanaccidentwithseriousbodilyinjurywasgreat,especiallyatthespeedthedefendantwasdriving.Weagreewiththetrialcourtthatenhancementfactor(10)appliedunderthecircumstancesofthiscase. FFFThetrialcourtfoundmitigationfactor(1)tobeinapplicablebecausethedefendantwasinvolvedinahighriskactivity.Thedefendantsconductdidnotcauseseriousbodilyinjury,buthisconductcertainlythreatenedseriousbodilyinjury.Thetrialcourtproperlyfoundthismitigationfactortobeinapplicableinconsiderationofitsfindingthatthedefendantcommittedacrimewithhighrisktohumanlife.FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF  FRegardingFFFFenhancementfactor(8),thedefendantcontendsthatreleaseonbondisnotareleaseaspartofasentence,thereforeenhancementfactor(8)isnotapplicable.Thedefendantcontendsthatthetrialjudgebasedherapplicationofthisfactoronthefactthatthedefendantcommittedanotheroffensewhileonbailfortheevadingarrestoffense.Afterareviewofthesentencinghearingandthepresentencereport,wefindthatthetrialjudgeappliedthisfactoronthebasisthatthedefendanthadsentencesinvolvingcommunityreleasesandhecontinuedtocommitcriminaloffenses.Thepresentencereportliststwopreviousoffensesforwhichthedefendantwasplacedonsupervisedprobationforoneyear.Duringtheprobationperiod,thedefendantcommittedthreeadditionaloffenses.Accordingly,enhancementfactor(8)isapplicableunderthesecircumstances.FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF FFFFFFFFThetrialcourtfoundmitigationfactor(1)tobeinapplicablebecausethedefendantwasinvolvedinahighriskactivity.Thedefendantsconductdidnotcauseseriousbodilyinjury,buthisconductcertainlythreatenedseriousbodilyinjury.Thetrialcourtproperlyfoundthismitigationfactortobeinapplicableinconsiderationofitsfindingthatthedefendantcommittedacrimewithhighrisktohumanlife.FFFFF  :04  Wefindthelengthofthesentenceimposedwasappropriategiventheapplicableenhancementfactorsandlackofanymitigatingfactors.  II.      Thedefendantchallengestheimpositionofconsecutivesentencing.Consecutivesentencingmaybeimposedinthediscretionofthetrialcourtuponadeterminationthatoneormoreofthestatutorycriteriaexist.SeeTenn.CodeAnn. @  4035115(b)(1997).Consecutivesentences,however,shouldnotberoutinelyimposedevenfortheoffenderwhoserecordofcriminalactivityisextensive.Tenn.CodeAnn.4035115,SentencingCommissionComments;Statev.Taylor,739 @ S.W.2d227,230(Tenn.Crim.App.1987);Statev.RoscoeC.Smith,No.01C01   9502CR00031,slipop.at10(Tenn.Crim.App.,Nashville,Oct.12,1995).TheSentencingReformActrequirestheapplicationofthesentencingprinciplessetforthintheActanda principledjustificationforeverysentence,including,ofcourse,consecutivesentences.Statev.Wilkerson,905S.W.2d933,938(Tenn.1995). #@  Theproofmustalsoestablishthatthetermsimposedarereasonablyrelatedtotheseverityoftheoffensescommittedandarenecessaryinordertoprotectthepublicfromfurthercriminalactsbytheoffender.Wilkerson,905S.W.2dat938;Tenn. @)" CodeAnn.4035102(1),(3)(B)(1997). Thetrialcourtfoundthedefendanttobe(1) anoffenderwhoserecordofcriminalactivityisextensiveand(2) adangerousoffenderwhosebehaviorindicateslittleornoregardforhumanlife,andnohesitationaboutcommittingacrimeinwhichtherisktohumanlifeishigh.Tenn.CodeAnn.4035115(b)(2),(4)(1997).Thedefendantreiterateshisargumentthatthetrialjudgereliedoninadmissiblehearsayinfindinganextensivecriminalhistorytosupportconsecutivesentencing.TheSentencingActspecifiesthatthecourtshallconsiderthe  :04 presentencereportindeterminingthemannerofsentencing.SeeTenn.CodeAnn. `  4035210(b)(2)(1997).Thepresentencereportcontainedinformationregardingthedefendantsextensivecriminalrecord.Therefore,thedefendantissubjecttoconsecutivesentencingforthisfactoralone.Whetherthedefendantisadangerousoffenderneednotbeconsideredbythiscourtbecauseconsecutivesentencingmaybeimposeduponafindingofanextensivecriminalhistory. TheWilkersonfactorsaresatisfiedbythisFFrecordF.FFFFFFFF.FFFFFFFFFFThecourtfound   thisoffensetobeaseriousprobleminsocietythatneedstobedeterred.FFFConsideringFFFFthis   offenseinadditiontotheDavidsonCountyoffenseofunlawfulpossessionofaweapon,theaggregatesentenceisreasonablyrelatedtotheseverityoftheoffensesandisnecessarytoprotectthepublicfromfurthercriminalactivitybythisdefendant.Thisdefendanthascontinuallycommittedcriminaloffensesthroughouthisadultlife.Heobviouslyisnotamenabletorehabilitation,asthecourtbelowfound.
