Ðseveral€visitors€to€the€defendantððs€residence€who€would€stay€from€thirty€minutes€to€a€couple€of€hours.€Ð à 0 ÐOther€individuals€would€stay€only€fifteen€or€twenty€minutes.€€The€traffic€seemed€to€slow€down€whenÐ Æ   Ðthe€task€force€began€making€arrests€based€on€undercover€buys€of€crack€cocaine.€€Sawyers€alsoÐ ¬ ü  Ðnoticed€the€defendant€leaving€her€house€often€and€returning€shortly€thereafter.€€He€suspected€theÐ ’â  Ðdefendant€or€someone€else€was€dealing€drugs€out€of€her€house.€€Because€he€felt€it€would€beÐ xÈ  Ðinappropriate€for€him€to€conduct€an€investigation€of€his€next„door€neighbor,€Sergeant€SawyersÐ ^®  Ðreported€the€defendantððs€conduct€to€the€police.€€Following€this€testimony,€the€State€rested€its€case.Ð D”  ÐÌà  àThe€defense€called€Patsy€Newmon,€the€defendantððs€mother,€as€its€first€witness.€€Mrs.Ð ` ÐNewmon€recalled€getting€two€unusual€phone€calls,€the€first€of€which€occurred€on€election€night.€€SheÐ öF Ðstated€that€she€answered€the€phone,€and€a€young€lady€asked€to€speak€to€ð ðPaul€Newmon€from€theÐ Ü, Ðphone€at€the€time,€and€it€was€Mrs.€Newmonððs€intention€to€have€equipment€installed€to€enable€themÐ ¾ Ðto€identify€the€caller.€€Following€the€call,€Mr.€Newmon€contacted€Chief€Deputy€Moon,€who€wasÐ ¤ô Ðpaid€forty€dollars€after€she€brought€the€drugs€to€the€police.€€After€the€rock€of€cocaine€from€theÐ Ø( ÐDecember€buy€was€shown€to€the€court€and€jury,€Sergeant€Hill€stated€that€the€amount€of€cocaine,€0.1Ð ¾ ðstreet€valueðð€of€twenty€dollars.€€When€shown€the€second€rock€from€the€January€buy,€whichÐ Š Ú Ðalso€contained€0.1€gram€of€cocaine,€Sergeant€Hill€stated€that€it€could€easily€have€a€ð ðstreet€valueðð€ofÐ p!À  Ðforty€dollars.€€He€explained€that€the€price€depended€on€who€was€selling€the€drug.€€He€agreed€withÐ V"¦!
