Atthehearing,thepetitionertestifiedonhisownbehalf.ThomasBuford,thepetitioner'strialcounsel,andJamesM.Lammey,Jr.,theassistantdistrictattorneygeneralwhoprosecutedthepetitioner'sseconddegreemurdercase,testifiedforthestate.Thetestimonyofthepetitioner,ononehand,andMessrs.BufordandLammey,ontheotherhand,differedsubstantially.Thetrialcourt'sfindingsreflectconclusionsthatthetestimonyoftrialcounselandtheprosecutorwasbelievedoverthetestimonyofthepetitioner,andtherewasnoconstitutionaldeficiencyintheassistanceprovidedbytrialcounsel.Theevidencecertainlydoesnotpreponderateagainstthelowercourt'sfinding.SeeManningv.State,883S.W.2d635,637(Tenn.Crim.App.1994).Likewise,wefindnoerroroflawinthelowercourt'sdetermination.
