I   Theappellantfirstallegesthathewouldnothaveenteredaguiltypleahadthetrialjudgeadvisedhimofhisrightagainstselfincrimination.Heclaimshewasconfusedanddidnotintentionallywaiveaknownright.Therecordbeforeusdoesnotcontainatranscriptofthehearingatwhichtheguiltypleawasentered.ThisCourtisoneofreviewandcannotproperlyaddressthisissuewithoutatranscriptoftheproceeding.Theappellantisresponsibleforpreparingatranscriptcontaininganaccurateandcompleteaccountofwhattranspiredwithrespecttothoseissuesthatformthebasisofhisappeal.Tenn.R.App.P.24(b).Infailingtodoso,theappellanthaswaivedthisissue.  II   Theappellantnextcontendsthathereceivedineffectiveassistanceofcounsel.Insupportofthisclaimtheappellantcontendsthathistrialcounselwasineffectivebyfailingto:(1)effectivelycommunicatewithhimregardingthestatusofpendingcharges;(2)investigatehiscase;and(3)keephiminformedaboutstatusofhisappealonarobberyconviction.Heallegesthatbecauseofhiscounsel'sineffectiveness,hefeltthathehadnochoicebuttopleadguilty. Theappropriatetestfordeterminingwhethercounselprovidedeffectiveassistanceattrialiswhetherhisorherperformancewaswithintherangeofcompetencedemandedofattorneysincriminalcases.Baxterv.Rose,523S.W.2d930(Tenn.1975).Appellantmustestablishbyapreponderanceoftheevidencethat:(1)theservicesrenderedortheadvicegivenbycounselfellbelow"therangeofcompetencedemandedofattorneysincriminalcases,"and(2)butforcounsel'serrors,hewouldnothavepledguiltyandwouldhaveinsistedongoingtotrial.Hillv.Lockhart,474U.S.52(1985);Porterfieldv.Tennessee,897S.W.2d672,67778(Tenn.1995).̀ Theburdenofprovingineffectiveassistanceofcounselisnotsustainedbytheappellant'suncorroboratedtestimonywhenthejudgmentisregularonitsfaceandentitledtoapresumptionofvalidity.Morganv.State,445S.W.2d477(Tenn.Crim.App.1969).Furthermore,thefindingsoffactofthepostconvictionhearingjudgeareconclusiveonappealunlesstheevidencepreponderatesagainstthejudgment.Brooksv.State,756S.W.2d288(Tenn.Crim.App.1990). Theappellant'sallegationconsistsofhisownuncorroboratedtestimony.Thepostconvictionhearingjudgeresolvedconflictingtestimonyinfavoroftheappellant'strialcounselandfoundthathereceivedadequaterepresentationunderthelaw.Weagree.
