Inthisappealofright,thedefendantclaimsthetrialcourtabuseditsdiscretionbyrevokingtheprobationandreinstatingthefulltwelveyearsentence,insteadofimposinglessseverealternatives.Wefindnoerrorandaffirmthejudgment.  Amongtheseveralotherconditionsofprobation,thedefendant'sprobationorderrequiredthedefendant(1)toobeythelawandreportanyarrests;(2)to"procuretheconsentofhisProbationOfficer"beforechanginghispersonalresidence,orbeforeleavingthecountyofhisresidence;(3)toreporttohisprobationofficerasinstructed;(4)torefrainfromusingnarcoticdrugs;and(5)topaysupervisionfeesandrestitution.Attherevocationhearing,thestatearguedthedefendantviolatedalloftheseconditionsofprobation.  Theprobationofficer,VickiWarsham,testifiedshehasbeensupervisingthedefendantsinceNovember1,1992.Sheacknowledgedthatthedefendant"reportedfairlywellatthebeginning."Sherelatedthatthedefendantacquiredacommercialdriver'slicenseandthathehadtimelymadesomeofhismonthlypaymentsuntilJanuaryof1994.Warshamtestifiedthatthedefendant'sconductdeterioratedbeginninginearly1994andthatthedefendant"abscondedfromFebruarythe9th,1994,untilhewaspickedupontheabsconderwarrantinOctoberof1994."Duringthisperiodoftime,thedefendantwasarrestedforDUI,possessionofmarijuana,andcontributingtothedelinquencyofaminor.Hepledguiltytothepossessionandcontributingcharges,andthestatedroppedtheDUIcharge.  Warshamtestifiedthatthedefendantfailedtoreporteitherhisarrestorhissubsequentconvictions.Sherelatedthatthedefendanthadmovedfromthecountywithoutpermission,failedtoreportthemove,andhadbeendelinquentonhisrequiredpaymentssinceJanuaryof1994.Oncrossexamination,WarshamacknowledgedthatthatshehadrecommendedinherprobationviolationreportthatthedefendantbereturnedtointensiveprobationorCommunityCorrections,ratherthanhavethetwelveyearsentencereinstated.  Thedefendantadmittedhehadviolatedthetermsofhisprobation.HeacknowledgedhavingadrugproblemandexplainedthathehadpledguiltytopossessionofmarijuanaandcontributingtothedelinquencyofaminorsoastoavoidaDUIconvictionandthuskeephiscommercialdriver'slicense.Thedefendantclaimedhewasunawarethattheguiltypleascouldresultinarevocationofhisprobation.Heexplainedthathehadbeenhomelessandwithoutworkforatimeandhadmovedoutofthecountyinordertolivewitharelativewhocouldprovidetransportationtowork.Hecontendedthathewastooembarrassedaboutthissituationtoinformhisprobationofficerandcouldnotaffordhisprobationpayments.ThedefendantalsotestifiedthatherecentlyreceivedhisGED.  Attheconclusionoftheproof,thetrialcourtfoundthatthedefendant"violatedthetermsandconditionsofhisprobationinsubstantialways"and"neverdidbothertocomebackuntilhewasarrested."Baseduponthedefendant'sunauthorizeddepartureandthemisdemeanorconvictions,thetrialcourtrevokedprobationandorderedthesentencetobeservedintheDepartmentofCorrections.  Whenaprobationrevocationischallenged,theappellatecourtshavealimitedscopeofreview.Ifthetrialjudgefindsbyapreponderanceoftheevidence"thatthedefendanthasviolatedtheconditionsofhisprobation,"thetrialjudgehastherighttorevokeprobation.Tenn.CodeAnn.4035311(d).TheSentencingCommissionCommentsto4035310providethat"[u]ponrevocation,theoriginalsentenceimposedcanbeplacedintoeffect."Thedeterminationbythetrialcourtifconscientiouslymade,isentitledtoanaffirmance;therecordmustmerelydemonstratethatthereissubstantialevidencetosupportitsconclusions.Statev.Delp,614S.W.2d395,398(Tenn.Crim.App.1980).Inordertoreverse,thiscourtmustfindthatthetrialjudgeactedarbitrarilyorotherwiseabuseditsdiscretionaryauthority.Id;seealsoStatev.Williamson,619S.W.2d145,147(Tenn.Crim.App.1981).  Here,thereisnodisputethatthedefendantviolatedthetermsofprobation.Becausethedefendantreadilyadmittedtheviolations,therevocationwasneitherarbitrarynorcapricious.Aviolationofanyoneoftheconditionsofprobationwouldwarrantrevocationofprobation.WhileatwelveyearsentencetotheDepartmentofCorrectionsmayhavebeenonerous,itisexactlywhatthedefendantagreedtoserveintheeventofhisfailuretocomplywiththeprobationaryterms.Thus,weholdthatthetrialcourtdidnotabuseitsdiscretioninrequiringserviceoftheentireterm.
