Thepetitionersclaimisthathewas falselyarrestedanddetainedwithoutfirstbeingindictedorthesubjectofanarrestwarrant.However,theremedyofhabeascorpusrelativetocriminalconvictionsinTennesseeislimitedinscopetovoidjudgmentsofconvictionandexpirationoftermsofimprisonment.SeePottsv.State,833S.W.2d60,62(Tenn.1992);Stateexrel.Kuntzv.Bomar,214Tenn.500,504,381S.W.2d29091(1964).Also,ifthetrialcourtrenderingajudgmenthasjurisdictionofthepersonandthesubjectmatter,andhastheauthoritytomakethechallengedjudgment,thejudgmentofconvictionisconsideredtobevoidable,notvoid.Potts,833S.W.2dat62.
