Onappeal,theappellantdoesnotchallengethetrialcourtsfindingthatheviolatedtheconditionsofhiscommunitycorrectionssentence.Hedoes,however,challengethetrialcourtsdecisiontoenhancehissentencefromfouryearstosixyears,afterhisinitialsentencewasrevoked.Werespectfullyreversethetrialcourtsjudgment. Theappellantarguesthatbecause thetrialcourtdidnotsetoutanyenhancementfactorsontherecordandtheStatedidnotfileanenhancementnotice,itcanbepresumedthatthetrialcourtfoundnoenhancementfactors.Therefore,hecontendsthatthetrialcourterredbyincreasinghissentence;andhisoriginalsentenceshouldbereinstatedbasedontherecordbeforethisCourt. ThestatearguesthatTenn.CodeAnn.4036106(e)(4)(Supp.1994)permitsthetrialcourtto resentencethe[accused]toanyappropriatesentencingalternative,includingincarceration,foranyperiodoftimeuptothemaximumsentenceprovidedfortheoffensecommitted.Also,thestateacknowledgesthat thetrialcourtfailedtostatethemitigatingandenhancementfactorsrelieduponintherecord,andthatthepresumptionofcorrectnessgiventothetrialcourtsdecisiononappealisinappropriateinthiscase.However,thestatemaintainsthatadenovoreviewoftherecordindicatesthatenhancementfactorsexistwhichjustifytheappellantsnewsentence. 4     Althoughadenovoreviewofthesparserecordthatexistsinthiscasecertainlyindicatesthattheappellantsenhancedsentenceiswarranted,thisCourtmustfollowtheTennesseeCriminalSentencingReformActof1989andtheCommunityCorrectionsAct.Whenatrialcourtenhancesadefendantsinitialsentence,it shallincludespecificfindingsoffactuponwhichapplicationofthesentencingprincipleswerebasedandmuststateontherecordthereasonsforimposinganewsentence.Tenn.CodeAnn.4035209(c)and210(f)(g)(Supp.1994)(emphasisadded).AlthoughthereviewofsentencesinthisCourtisdenovo,thetrialcourtmuststillcomplywithproceduresmandatedbythesestatutesduringasentencinghearing.Statev.Ervin,939S.W.2d581(Tenn.Crim.App.1996);Statev.Patterson,No.02C019308CC00174(Tenn.Crim.App.atJackson,May25,1994);Statev.Batts,No.01C019210CR00326(Tenn.Crim.App.atNashville,Feb.18,1993);Statev.Gauldin,737S.W.2d795,798(Tenn.Crim.App.1987).  Thetranscriptofthesentencinghearingisbarelytwopages.Thetrialcourtsummarilysentencedtheappellanttosixyears,withoutindicatingintherecordanylegalbasisfortheincreasedsentenceandwithoutmakinganyfindingsoffact.
