Z   GregorySanford,thebountyhunterhiredtolocateTruitt,testifiedthatheownedTennessee ,| RecoveryGroup,abailenforcementcompany.SanfordwascontactedbyWilliamGarrettabout e Truittsfailuretoappear.Uponinvestigation,SanfordlearnedthatTruittwasa dopeaddictwho N  frequent[ed]theprojectsinNashville.#%XXۧ#XX%SanfordandhispartnerwenttothehomeofTruitts  7 parentsinNashville;however,Truittsfatherrefusedtoallowthemtoenter.Sanfordcontactedthe !   MetroPolice,whoarrivedthereafterandsearchedthehouse.Truittwasnotfoundinsidehis " ! parentshouse. #"  $#   SanfordsubsequentlylearnedthatTruitthadagirlfriendinMichigan.Truittcontactedthe  TennesseeBureauofInvestigation(TBI),whointurncontactedtheU.S.MarshallsTaskForcein  Flint,Michigan.ThetaskforceproceededtotheaddressprovidedbySanfordandsearchedthe  homeofTruittsgirlfriend.Truittwasnotthere.However,Truittsgirlfriendinformedthemthat k shehadrecentlypressedchargesagainstTruittfor beatingheruponeafternoonandTruitthadfled T toFlorida.SanfordrelayedthisinformationtoOtey,andthetwomenagreedthatSanfordwould =  gotoFloridatoattempttolocateTruitt. & v   InFlorida,SanfordlearnedthatTruitthadreturnedtoNashvillepriortoSanfordsarrival.  H SanfordcontactedtheTBIinNashvilleandaskedthatTruittbefeaturedonatelevisionnews  1  broadcastfeaturingwantedcriminals.Duringthebroadcast,theTBIoffereda$1,000rewardfor    informationleadingtothearrestofTruitt.Severalmonthslater,aninformantreportedthathe   recalledseeingTruitt.Sanfordmetwiththeinformant,whodisclosedTruittslocation.Sanfordand   threeTBIagentssubsequentlyapprehendedTruittatthedisclosedlocation.     Attheconclusionofthetestimony,thetrialcourttookthematterunderadvisement.#%XX۷#XX%On W  October21,2003,thetrialcourtenteredanorderdenyingtheappellantsmotiontoremitforfeitures, @ finding, [w]hileitmaybeheldthatcourtsretainthediscretiontoexoneratesuretiesinmatterssuch )y asthese,todosoineverycasemightopenthefloodgatesforfutureactivityalongtheselinesand b weakenthestructureofthesystemwhichgovernsbondissues.However,thetrialcourtgranted K remittanceof$15,479.20,theamountexpendedbytheappellantinapprehendingTruitt.The 4 appellantnowappealsthetrialcourtsdenialofhismotion,arguingthat(1)thetrialcourtsrefusal  tograntfullremittancewasagainstlogicandreasoningand(2)thetrialcourtabuseditsdiscretion  bydenyingthemotiononthebasisofapurportedconflictinthelawregardingremittanceoffinal  forfeitures.
