Ðthe€defendant€started€screaming€at€and€cursing€him.€€In€addition,€the€defendant€told€Officer€Reagan€Ð $X" Ðthat€he€had€a€knife€in€his€back€pocket€and€then€reached€into€the€pocket€that€contained€the€knife.€Ð ô$D # ÐOfficer€Reagan,€who€was€standing€five€to€six€feet€away€from€the€defendant,€told€the€defendant€toÐ à%0!$ Ðleave€the€knife€alone,€but€the€defendant€refused.€€It€was€only€when€the€officer€drew€his€weapon€thatÐ Ì&"% Ðthe€defendant€took€his€hand€out€of€his€pocket.€€Although€the€defendant€never€took€the€knife€out€ofÐ ¸'#& Ðhis€pocket€or€verbally€threatened€Officer€Reagan€with€it,€the€defendantððs€cursing€the€officer,€rantingÐ ¤(ô#' Ðand€raving,€and€reaching€into€the€pocket€that€contained€the€knife€support€the€trial€judgeððs€ruling€thatÐ )à$( Ðthe€defendant€engaged€in€threatening€behavior.€€Ð |*Ì%) ÐÐ h+¸&* Ðà  àFurthermore,€the€defendant€acted€with€the€intent€to€cause€public€annoyance€or€alarm.€€TheÐ ° Ðdefendant€contends€that€evidence€of€cars€passing€by€on€the€road€as€the€incident€took€place€isÐ œì Ðinsufficient€to€prove€that€he€acted€with€the€intent€to€cause€public€annoyance€or€alarm.€€We€agree.€Ð ˆØ ÐThe€defendant€also€argues€that€directing€threatening€conduct€at€an€officer€alone€is€not€enough€toÐ tÄ Ðshow€intent€to€cause€public€annoyance€or€alarm.€€However,€we€find€nothing€in€the€case€law€thatÐ `° Ðsupports€this€argument.€€The€defendant€directed€his€threatening€behavior€at€a€member€of€the€public,Ð L œ ÐOfficer€Reagan,€and€this€was€enough€to€satisfy€the€intent€element€of€the€statute.€€Finally,€we€note€thatÐ 8 ˆ Ðthis€incident€occurred€on€a€public€road.€€Therefore,€the€evidence€is€sufficient€to€convict€the€defendantÐ $ t Ðof€disorderly€conduct.Ð  ` ÐÌà  àBased€upon€the€foregoing€and€the€record€as€a€whole,€we€affirm€the€judgment€of€conviction.Ð è 8  ÐÌÌà  àà ` àà ¸ àà  àà h àà À àà  à___________________________________€Ð ¬ü  Ðà  àà ` àà ¸ àà  àà h àà À àà  àJOSEPH€M.€TIPTON,€JUDGE
