„)Ô$) ÐAttorney€General.€€General€Martin€informed€Officer€Feathers€that€the€appellant€was€driving€a€redÐ p*À%* ÐMercedes€sports€car€with€a€black€top€and€that€he€believed€the€appellant€was€driving€on€a€revokedÐ \+¬&+ Ðlicense.€€During€the€telephone€conversation,€General€Martin€provided€Officer€Feathers€with€aÐ H,˜', Ðdetailed€description€and€the€license€number€of€the€vehicle.€€When€Officer€Feathers€subsequentlyÐ 4-„(-ýú ÐÔ_Ôchecked€this€information,€he€confirmed€that€the€appellantððs€driverððs€license€had€been€revoked.€€AtÐ ° àSometime€later€that€evening,€Officer€Feathers€received€another€telephone€call€from€GeneralÐ `° ÐMartin,€who€stated€that€he€had€gone€to€a€wedding€reception€at€the€Holiday€Inn€in€Bristol,€VirginiaÐ L œ Ðand€that€the€appellant€was€present.€€Around€10:30€that€night,€Officer€Feathers€contacted€the€Bristol,Ð 8 ˆ ÐVirginia€police€department€and€confirmed€that€the€appellantððs€car€was€still€at€the€Holiday€Inn.€€Ð $ t ÐÌà  àBetween€the€hours€of€11:00€p.m.€and€midnight,€Officer€Feathers€was€in€the€area€of€HolidayÐ ü L  ÐDrive€and€Highway€11„W€in€Bristol,€Tennessee,€when€he€observed€a€ð ðred€sports€car€at€a€high€rateÐ è 8  Ðof€speed€going€towards€Kingsport.ðð€€The€car€appeared€to€be€traveling€much€faster€than€the€postedÐ Ô$  Ðspeed€limit€of€55€miles€per€hour.€€Holiday€Drive€is€approximately€one„half€of€a€mile€inside€the€cityÐ À  Ðlimits€of€Bristol.€€Ð ¬ü  ÐÌà  àOfficer€Feathers€immediately€turned€around€and€attempted€to€catch€up€to€the€vehicle.€€He€lostÐ „Ô  Ðsight€of€the€vehicle€momentarily,€but€caught€up€to€the€vehicle€near€a€Conoco€gas€station€on€HighwayÐ pÀ Ð11„W,€which€is€approximately€one„half€mile€outside€the€Bristol€city€limits.€€According€to€OfficerÐ \¬ ÐFeathers,€he€had€to€drive€at€ð ðwell€over€a€hundred€miles€an€hourðð€in€order€to€catch€up€to€the€vehicle.€Ð H˜ ÐBy€the€time€he€caught€up€to€the€vehicle,€it€was€traveling€at€least€80€miles€per€hour.€€He€realized€atÐ 4„ Ðthat€point€that€the€tag€number€matched€that€of€the€appellantððs€vehicle€that€had€been€provided€earlierÐ  p Ðby€General€Martin.€€After€following€the€appellant€for€a€short€while,€Officer€Feathers€noted€that€theÐ  \ Ðappellant€changed€lanes€several€times€and€crossed€over€the€right€line€twice.€€Officer€FeathersÐ øH Ðactivated€his€onboard€camera€and€his€blue€lights.€€He€was€approximately€a€mile€to€a€mile„and„a„halfÐ ä4 Ðoutside€the€city€limits€at€that€time.€€The€appellant€stopped€his€vehicle€about€three„quarters€of€a€mileÐ Ð  Ðlater,€approximately€2.2€miles€outside€the€city€limits.€€Ð ¼  ÐÌà  àWhen€the€vehicle€stopped,€Officer€Feathers€approached€the€vehicle€and€asked€the€appellantÐ ”ä Ðfor€his€driverððs€license€and€registration.€€The€appellant€produced€a€restricted€license€and€stated€thatÐ €Ð
