V"! #XcXXXc/##XXc #XcX  Atthetimeofsentencing,theDefendantwastwentyfouryearsold,unmarried,andhadno "$r# priorcriminalrecord.ShewasfromHouston,Texas,wasahighschoolgraduate,andhadbeen %X $ employedinthepastataWalMartstoreintheHoustonarea.Shetestifiedthatshehadagreedto %>!% deliverthemarijuanatoTennesseeforaTexasdrugdealerwhohadpromisedtopayhertwo &$"& thousanddollarstomakethetrip.Shesaidthatthiswasthefirsttimeshehadservedasa"courier" ' #' ofmarijuana.Atthesentencinghearing,theStatepresentedtestimonythatinrecentmonthsover (#( 670poundsofmarijuanaandover265poundsofcocainehadbeenseizedalongthatparticular )$) stretchofInterstate40.Anofficeralsotestifiedthatonestopnetted"approximately29million  dollarsworthofcocaine."
